Heh, I just started this new account, After my other one was hacked and locked.

 

But I'm staying f2p for the challenges, and I really got bored of members, There was actually TOO much stuff to do..Right now I'm loving f2p.

I'm f2p because I know I'll be too addicted once I become a p2p. Besides, there are very few scammers on p2p.

I'm F2P because I spend all my darn money. Then I don't have enough to be left over and I'm saving up right now ^_^ good luck to me :S

The reason i havent become a member yet is cause i still havent achieved the levels i want for the f2p skills.

 

 

 

yeah thats why im not a member, i got a lvl 91 member but i gets tired of him... thats why im skillin on my lvl 3 char, i know a lotta ppl think its dumb, but i think its pretty cool to have a skills noob, plus i dont really like combat anyhow........

too much crap in p2p, hell, they have paint-ball-bazookas, i mean, f2p at least holds SOME mideavil dignity

really, I am. There is way to much to do, way to many new ways to die. I've been a member, and i'm just waiting till i have the time/skillz/gp/money so i can become member again. Playing f2p is just a means of waiting...

 

 

 

I lost all my stuff a lil while ago, so there no point in me becoming a member yet.

 

 

 

I feel i have some idea playing f2p, but p2p is way to confusing and makes me feel like a noob.

 

 

 

At the moment i'm training woodcutting, which is just as effective on f2p as p2p... or atleast thats what i'm telling myself.

 

 

 

It's not because i'm a freeloader, i'm happy to pay when i have the time.

Im f2p because in my opinion there are a lot better things to spend your money on. I spend my money on going out and doing things with my girlfriend and my other friends. It isn't really a waste of money but I can just think of things that I like to do more than sit alone in my room playing RS.

I am satisfied with F2p and don't wanna spend money on it.

 

and i think 5$ a month, which is 60$ a year is way too much for just an online

I'm with this guy, though at cb81, I'm not exactly scared of dying, per say, just apprehensive of getting myself deeper into something I might not want to get into. p2p is so far beyond f2p that it's fairly daunting for a p2p "virgin". I think that's the biggest con against not updating f2p with more p2p stuff; eventually, the p2p stuff gets so far away from the f2p that hardly anyone wants to make the jump for fear of falling painfully on their faces.

 

Crazy idea, but what if Jagex created a kind of "Advanced Tutorial Island" for people who are starting p2p for the first time? You know, just something to explain and aid the new members into the new skills, areas and features of p2p?

its fun to play f2p and its challenging to get things, like god armor and rares because it is harder to make money f2p. and i like that.

i'm F2P, cauz my mom won't let me, but i think that even if i did become P2P, i wouldn't like it... sur it's nice to hav all these new things, but i'm content with wat i hav... : ( well... not really, look at my sig for mor F2P bank space... -.- )

My $5 goes to some place that's helpful to me. For example, food. :

F2p has enough for me as it is, and I still have a long way to go before mastering each available skill.

 

 

 

Besides, as a f2per, I at least have above average stats.

 

If I became p2p, I'd be one of 20,000 (?) people around 100 combat, rather than be seen as higher levelled in f2p.

 

 

 

And there are much better things I could spend $60/year on, such as 1/3 of a college textbook #-o

For everyone saying about the cost: you earn more in 1 hour of work to pay for a month of members and consider how long it lasts instead of say some console game which costs 100$ and lasts a month (or weeks or sometimes even days :?) :P

 

 

 

And for people saying p2p is stupid for whatever reason, atleast try it first :lol: It's not that big and scary, just get a few friends to help and in a week or 2 you'll be fine. I go back to f2p occasionally but it's just meh..all you can do is wc, mine or pk theres no castlewars or big monsters to take down with friends :(

Am a member now... But I play f2p for bout 1 year.(just go member this month)... Reason I want to be f2p that long because you can train on stats, and is fun!! Also I didn't know how to pay for membership.

Im poor irl, thats my reason.

i been playin for bit over a year now, reason i started coz my friend was playin, wasnt gonna do quests, few weeks later i start and finish all, always wanted to be member ever since i found out how good it was

 

 

 

3 reasons, theres so much to do ill get confused

 

not enuff money, well id rather spend it on better things u no

 

got heaps of other games to keep me occupied

I'm Still F2P because I cant justify and afford to spend the money on a regular basis.

 

 

 

but i an concidering it because I'm level 75 smithing now and leveling up is getting harder (Gauntlets of forging would help).

 

 

 

Prayer would also be a lot easier to increase as a member :pray:

You pay once for a console game and you have it forever tho.

 

I've been on for a long time now, and the cost would soon add up. I bet there are people out there who have paid more than a console game!

 

They are completely diffrent so you cant compare them.

 

 

 

As for the cost. I have bills to pay so all my hours at work pay those with very little left over, and i have to pay for something called a life. Some people don't have jobs remember. Not everyone is in the same situation as you.

I love how all the people complain about the 60$ a year, omg people.

 

 

 

Are you all poor or something, 5$ a month. You can make that in less than an hour, just wash 1 car or something XD

I don't want to have to pay 60 dollars a year. If you ask me it is a waste.

 

 

 

60 dollars a years isn't much ... (to me)

 

but look it at this side: if your member you're going to play a lot more and probably spend less money on other things(computer games, ...)
