What jagex should do is buy the higher level accounts and then just banned them, and ask for their money back because it didn't work. If not, just have a law suit.... The company is going agains the rules jagex put down.

The internation assasiation of trading and transfering act protect this kind of compenies. The compeny DOESN'T Actually sale the account, they sale a joke or the Time It Took, as a result you will get a gift. the gift is the account.......Now thats not allowed In the jagex Term Of Use, But the compeny doesn't sale Any Property Of Jagex....So Its Bannable for the player but not Law Suit Optional By Jagex.............

I personnal hope that all this player cheating will get bannd and IP blocked for ever...

are you a lawyer? lol

on topic: if people want to waste money on something that they might not even get go ahead and let them...

Well it depends on what kind of site your looking at.

1. Ebay

2. Cheating site w/ selling accounts/RS GP

If your answer is (2). Read their Terms of Service. They will USEUALLY have a section in their ToS saying "No one affiliated with Jagex may enter this site or create an account."

So cheating sites are pretty much fool proof.

that is mentally challenged.

p.s. just cuz im rather dtupid =P~ durrr are u being sarcastic?

by the way just thought of loop hole. cant sumone report site to police or sumthing (sumone who is not been affiliated with jagex?

What are the police going to do? Knock on the owners door saying "Sir, your website is violating the Code of Conduct for Jagex. Please remove it now."

I do not think so.

Training my pure!

I have seen an account for sale on Ebay, what should I do?

Please rest assured that members of Jagex staff check all known auction sites on a daily basis to ensure that no RuneScape accounts are sold via online auctioning web sites.

apparently they check the sites on a daily basis?

don't joke lol, someone in London is being taken to court for putting the wrong rubbish in their bin outside :)

This country gets worse...

My view on it is... Why can't people sell accounts, you pay Jagex money for a product that they make money on and openly trade on the stock exchange in return for bigger profits.

Runescape is like a job, you spend years working hard So why shouldn't you get somthing back in return :), I don'y exactly agree with Real world item trading, but I can see why a market exists for it, and as long as Runescape is played, people will sell GP/Accounts.

Imagine going into a shop and buying somthing like a new bike, after working 2 years to pay for it , then a year later you fall off to much or you get a new car, then not being able to sell, just hand it back to the shop.

But we all agree to Jagex T&C's before we play RS, so its a good thing they ban em etc, I was just chucking in an analogy as I was bored :)

Quit Runescape 10 jan 2007 - Playing again 2012

Because Jagex has no power over eBay and those sites, thus can't force them to quit seling accounts.

Whats up the the joke? "Selling joke, with free RS acc" Aren't you selling the RS acc? :?:

No where does it say you can't give away accounts in the rules.

Unfortunatly.
