July 9, 200619 yr well i have been at the cave horrors for atleast 5 days now (1 hour + a day). and i have not got a black mask yet. i now come to the conclussion that they are quite rare. any thoughts? no flaming or spaming thnx (p.s. if u got one as a drop did u use ring of wealth?)
July 9, 200619 yr It's just like any other slayer drop, it's all random ... you could get one within five minutes of killing, but you never know, just keep trying 8-) note:ring of wealth would help
July 9, 200619 yr I think they are as rare as any other slayer unique drop (Mystic, granite maul, whip, etc.) Took me 3 days myself. The Slayers Guild a Slayer Clan led by Axe Man Jack Proud to have written the most plagiarized Slayer guide on the planet.

The black mask is a rare drop I had to give up for a while after killing too many Cave Horrors and getting tired of them :o Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. July 9, 200619 yr Only took me 2 days, first night was there like an hour or so, 2n'd day got one on 3'rd kill. :) Can anyone tell me if we can have more then one ? Do they continue to drop them, if so what do they sell for ?

July 9, 200619 yr I actually lucked out on this one. After getting a clue scroll on my 7th kill, I managed to get a black mask 3 kills later.
July 9, 200619 yr I heard they're about as rare as getting a whip drop from abyssals. I spent 3.5 hours there and got too sick of them. I think your time would be more efficiently spent just buying the mask and earning the money for it elsewhere.

July 9, 200619 yr I killed around 400 with a ring of charos on, then switched to wealth and got it within 150 kills.
July 9, 200619 yr yea, they're quite rare. i spent maby 4 hours the day it came out and didn't get one, spent another 2 hours two days ago and finally got one. ugh >_>

July 10, 200619 yr I killed a bunch on my own and have had 3 slayer assignments for them and still don't have one. Since i'm doing range I don't really care much but when I go back to melee I'll just buy one if I don't have one by then.
