July 14, 200620 yr Wow. When I saw it my first thought was"Thats not terragen its a photograph" but then I look closeer and saw that it wasn't a photo. BUt for me to think at all even for a second that it was a photogrpah is a real compliment. You did a good job, keep up the good work. 10/10 I have no critisism. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

July 14, 200620 yr Where's the hot ladies? :( Its great, i'd definately say it was a photo (well... the lack of trees) if you hadn't have said terragen. One thing doesn't look quite right though, the hill/mountain just right of center. I don't see a lot of hills/mountains with that sort of texture. One "bowl" effect on a hill is logical, but to me having a "double bowl" effect doesn't look logical. I dont know, it may just be me. Either way, great job. :) I still want those hot ladies.

July 14, 200620 yr Phew thats one... ah wrong thread. Anyways, looking nice zon. The only problem I have with it is the left side. Because there isn't any sun hitting it it looks realy dull and less realistic than the right hand side. That's about the only thing I can come up with though, nice job :) .

Terragen is a 3d landscape rendering program, lol. Zon, this is very nice. Though as Nad said about the left side and the sunlight. You could probably fix this though in photoshop by adding some very carefully place white lines, then setting them to overlay. It'll just take some experimenting.

July 15, 200620 yr Author Thanks for the comments, guys. :) I haven't actually used Terragen for a while, and the first couple of renders I made in the day were disastrous. Not to mention that one of them made my computer crash because I tried to play Guild Wars at the same time. Anyway, I really like the improvements I'm making. I still have some of my older pieces, and, well... yeah. I should work on getting my version registered sometime in the next year to improve the quality further. July 15, 200620 yr This is absolutely beautiful... You're very talented! The landscape takes on such an intriguing, yet very natural shape, and the reflections in the water make the colors absolutely beautiful. ^_^ This is the best work of art I've seen in a long time! Nice going!
