Well less than a week ago I made a topic about asking for age being a mutable offence, yes I was very upset about that. But during my punishment, Ive gotten a quite a few rare random events like maze, and it lead to my conclusion that alot of good randoms come to you if you dont talk at all, and of course if your not paying attention to the game ;)

 

 

 

Now im not telling you to go around runescape and swear your butt off to get muted so you can get randoms, Im just telling others that are muted, its not so bad :P

That's unique. Most people wouldn't like being muted. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't... although it'd make life far easier seeing how you cannot actually respond to any noobish questions from (coincidentally) noobs.

I answer when people ask questions, and I still get a fair amount of random events (Full camo and lederhosen already, and 20k in gold from other events)

I wouldn't mind being muted, I never start conversations anyways.

well, they're always pros and cons to everything in life. but, i still don't want to be muted just for the sake of getting random events

I been muted for 1 day for spamming =(, I never new spamming is an offence lol.............. But it was horrible... , your friend say "Hi" and you can't do anything.............

you dont really have to swear ur butt off just dont talk. ive never been muted b4 but when i do i wont think so bad off it now. i remember i had a friend and i got mad at him cuz he wouldnt talk to me when i tried to talk to him and put him on my ignore list. he pmed me in forums and told me he was muted, i felt so bad :cry:

And of course, asking for real personal details is a real punishable offence, because it might lead to ***child predators*** and of course, hacking.

If you dont say anything, you get more randoms because there's a good chance you are an auto.

 

 

 

Also, I can get 80- 100 sharks an hour if I speak to no one, pm no one and dont interact with any NPCs other than bankers. If I talk the entire time, I can get up to 120. Coincidence...

 

 

 

Which makes muting extra bad. So don't encourage people...

=D> Last week at the mages, one of the veterans got muted so everytime he got a level he would spell it in flax, 'twas great. Personally, I'd hate being muted unless I was stuck in a cycle of training slayer or another solitery skill :anxious:

I think what you can be muted for depends somewhat on the mod?
