July 28, 200619 yr I'm on a 36 run dry streak. I invite my friend. He does 5 trips, and pulls out 3 barrows items. he does 10 more, and gets 3 added to his other 3. My other friend comes. He gets a guthan warspear, a dharok helm, and a torag helm in the same hour. My other friend... the one who got 6 drops.. got evey single melee brother's legplates/skirts. He also got a flail and an ahrim staff. My question is does killing the monsters lower your chance of a barrows item? I know it gives you more runes, but I mean come on.... I've been getting 25 kills each time and 37 runs without an item... (Just completed another) is really sucking right now. My post is a rant/question and I couldn't descide on which to post in... i figure all the blended toppics like this should go into P2P since there really hasn't been a good discussion here in a while. So please don't move or lock this.

July 28, 200619 yr this is what a Jagex Mod told me A higher kill count will increase your chances of getting a better secondary reward. If your kill count includes the 6 Brothers it will increase the likelihood of you getting the fabled Barrow items Dragon drops: D med x3, D Spear x2, Left Half x1, D2h x1Crawling Hands X4, Cockatrice heads X2, Basilisk head X2, Kurask head X1Support me in the drop race

July 28, 200619 yr Author I have the worst luck in this game... 4 months of constant kqing and get nothing... I spent well over 4M on the pots and food. I went on a 50 run dry streak once. Then i died and lost over 10M because the d [] protected over the spear... I lagged out in the tunnel... I also had to use over 6K tokens to get the rune defender, 2.3K on the iron alone. Worth it, but still I have nightmares.

July 28, 200619 yr Ouch, just bad luck's all, but if I were you I'd want to kill them... Sometimes I think people with all that luck need a nice reality check. One that involves a 100 run dry streak of course. July 28, 200619 yr done over 40-50+ lvl 3 treasue trails best loot - rune plate friend does 1st trial gets robin, second zammy plate third enchanted chest there is something totally messed up here!!!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: heh, i just got back to members and did a few lvl 3 clues and got a robin, then did about 10 barrows runs and got ahrims skirt. i'm not the luckiest person but i have my lucky streaks some times 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. Jagex'd out of my untrimmed hp cape on 6/14/2011.

I use Zammy flames (charged), and I find it to be a very good method of doing barrows. And actually yes I went there and got a Guthan spear about 2 weeks ago, and when I got it I went "OMG!!" ... July 28, 200619 yr Its really weird that everyone always says they get a guthans spear, yet it is by far the most expensive peice of barrows equipment. You not alone when it comes to dry streaks, i'm around 30 without an item, and it took me 40 runs for my last peice of barrows. July 28, 200619 yr My luck is having more Attack XP from killing Abbies without a whip, than I'd wager you have in total. That's not to say little of your Attack XP, it's just to say little, very, very little of my luck.
