And the brothers are the only thing that influences your chances for armor. unless this is wrong? otherwise why not kill 500 bloodworms each chest and no brothers? Brothers only ftw. Keep in mind, my barrows list (only posted the very bottom of it) has been kept since barrows was released (or about a month after when i actuallly first went there.) but ive tried every kill count, and 6 works the best. The mors runs you do, the more items you will get. Ive gone on days and days of no drops, only to get 4 in one day, then back to nothing. Its all random, just put in the time. Best two in game methods- free Barrowing (mine) and speed Barrowing (yours). Once I reach my 10k Blood Rune goal I'll probably switch to da fast method, it rocks. It's too bad that you don't get a lot of runes with it, and you have to buy a fair amount of Ppots (I don't even use a dose a trip, do I don't have to deal with Pot merchants :P ) but the speed it can be done is amazing, and well worth it. I'm technically not having a dry streak because I've never gotten an item in all 176 of my trips. Best thing is some half keys... :evil: I see friends go in and waltz out having just gotten another barrows item. I go in, and usually a bunch of chaos and mind, ocassionally a half key and some bloods. I usually get 10 kc,... 7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. But then I tried barrows. First 12 trips, runes and coins. 13th trip (it's my lucky number): I kill the brothers, get my kill count and run to the chest. *Search chest* *Torags plate appears in inventory* "Omfg torags plate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 2 trips later... *Search chest* I was laggy, so I saw some runes appear, and then a half key. So I ecto back (I now have a house btw), and while passing the farming patch: Guthans helm. Oh. Em. Gee. And then, another 15 (or 17, lost track) trips later: A KArils coif. Funny thing is, another guy also in the chest room asks "nything?". I reply with "Karils coif lol". He then runs to the chest, searches it, trades me and puts up a Karils coif :lol:. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. When back then the week barrows came out nearly all items were 1m+ and torags plate was 3m for a plate. (19/20) ^ 100 = .0059205 thats about 1/169, so if you did 169 sets of 100 barrow trips you wouldn't get an item in 1 of them. That calculation isnt true... if you did 20 trips and there was a 1/20 chance, thats a 50% chance of you getting an item throuought the entire thing. divide that by 5 (20 X 5 = 100), and you have 10%. 10% of the time, 100 trips will amount to nothing. But then again, that's just my math. Actually you can't just divide it by 5, that messes up the calculation. I know, it's weird, but diving it by 5 doesn't work. Basically, the only possible way to do it is to find the chance of you not getting a drop (19/20^100) then subtracting that from 100%; trying to find the possibility of getting the drop doesn't work. Then again, it's been a year since my HS Statistics class, so it's foggy :XD: .
