hamgod316 Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 Everything is based on luck. I was at Shadow Warriors for a while and I didn't get the infamous left half drop. I thought I had bad luck with drops. Then I started doing Barrows and on the second run, I got a Torag plate. I haven't done any runs since then because I was raising my range. Then I did a lvl-3 clue and I got a Sara Plate and a Zammy page. Then I hit a dry streak for a while, no good drops until cave horrors came out. BUT, I do enchance the luck of everyone around me. Especially if you're on my friends list and your name begins with "Q" and ands with "e". OR, you enjoy screaming at NPC's and calling them color which they're clearly not, and you're on a mission to get a worthless drop from a large monster that drops the most expensive piece of armour in the game. Aquashock Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 My personal exprience is great, my longest dry streak was the 47 runs in the begining. From what ive seen, if you get a 21-42 ish killcount, you tend to get an item or two every 6-10 trips. By all means its random, but this helps me. Oh, and just to get this out there, A higher kill count will increase your chances of getting a better secondary reward. If your kill count includes the 6 Brothers it will increase the likelihood of you getting the fabled Barrow items But in no way does getting a killcount over 6 LOWER the chances of getting one, it simply states if you killed the 6 brothers, your chances are greatened (not -est) ive had people argue with me over this alot, so i thought id just get it out there ^^Click For Monster Hunting Blog (180M+ in drops)^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Every single one of my drops seems to be worthless. Then my friend comes up and I watch him search the chest and he goes "ZOMG PMG LOL OMG GUTHAN SPEER THEY'RE 4M!!!" I was like... no.... 5m+... :wall: :wall: :wall: I've also gone to the kq over 200 tiems, killing 2+ in each trip. I have gotten nothing. I have over 300 zammy wines in my bank. My luck is the worst in runescape. Oh, and ahrim and I were fighting yesterday... My pray ran out while he was redbarred. I was like "My crystal bow will own him..." Wrong. I missed 6 times before hitting a 1. These are his hits on me: 20, 19, 19, 12 (me eat) 19, 10 I swar i am the unluckiest person in the world. I have had 2 chains stolen off of me, my team always gets a chain right when i leave,a dn I've gotten the kill over 300 times without getting a single good drop. Not even a D2H. MY LUCK SUCKS! I usually get 25-30 kc, but the one time I get lower than that (12) I get a double chest with coif ad dh helm. I think I'll do one now with only the 6 kc and see how it turns out...
