I've always wondered this you know how complicated it would be to have the update come out for everyone at the same time? Meaning if you are from a certain time zone, you could only log in to certain worlds for a certain period time (from the first updated timezone to the last updated timezone) and then it would give a completely unfair advantage to people in the first time zone (I don't know where that is. I guess Australia?) because that would more then 23 hours of update before the last time zone. Bronze crossbow, iron crossbow, etc. I mean, that certainly isn't a bad thing... It would be great if the arms of the crossbows wore out after a while (like BARROWS, not CRYSTAL) and that you had to get a replacement arm to make it operational again. These would be supplied "only" by smithing them. No stores. Nope, all smithers. Thus you would have two parts: the crossbows we have in-game currently, and the enhancement arms. Anyways, I think the special for the magic bow used to take something like 40% of your special bar. Like the higher level bolts would drain magic, or freezes for like 5 seconds, or whatever. And the better metal the bolt is made out of, the better enchantment it can hold. So you can't enchant a bronze bolt to hit through prayer, or an iron bolt to have a never-miss effect. If Jagex plays this right it really could be a good update. Do you realize the import of this? A f2p one-handed range weapon! Now pure rangers can do D. Slayer! Although I guess they couldn't because they'd gain levels from the quest reward ... but still! I'm looking forward to this. :) My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to. I watched a pure ranger out in the dragon pit area attack a warrior with the special on his shortbow. 22-19! 20-8! Dead! And this ranger was only lvl 70 something ... the most hardcore type of pure ranger. And he hit that on a lvl 60-something in full rune! I was a newb collectin green hides for money ... anyway it was really cool. Less money to poison... so true. however, it just seems as if jagex doesnt appreciate ranged that much. mind you im all in favor of a good update...but i highly doubt it will be good. i mean a good ranged update, thatd be great for me training my ranged up personally crystal and the magic short bow are, pretty good for now. i mean. they work...a new bow would be nice and all but seriously. id expect better ranged armor over black dragon hide. id really like to see white dragon hide Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
