They said they would be enhancing CROSSBOWS. Don't be too hopeful, I don't believe these crossbows will be hitting 30+. That would make Karils bow and other range equipment completely dead. My guess would be making crossbows as good as MSB's for combat, with a slightly different special. Maybe a LITTLE bit better... but probably not too much. Want to learn to Nex? Either that or they better come out with a damn good bow. They did un-nerf it this week. You just have to have to have a tag-a-long Lunar mage that can do Energy Transfer for you :wink:. Plus I am told that anti-dragonfire potions combined with mage protect negates fire as well. I am hoping for a f2p update even though I am p2p... so long as it benefits 80+ rangers, lol. So he knows that if this isn't good, I'll be asking him why :evil: If Jagex mess this up, I will not be happy, they have this chance to make Range Equal to mage and Melee, for the first time really since the Mage Short was nerfed. But did anyone realise that when the mage short was nerfed that jagex bought out the crystal bow to compensate for it? Crystal bow IS the best bow for training, but it's just too slow to PK With. jessy87 Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 i really doubt ranged will ever see anything hitting 30's. instead, i imagine if you recall jagex saying the bone crossbow fire bolts up to iron. makes me wonder if they will release smithable bolt's up to rune. or perhaps rune crossbows. has has potential thats all i know. i do not expect great things. more like i expect them to release something like snakehide version of cross bows.
