If i get those things (or atleast most of them) I will be VERY happy.

i've notice that myself and em really Anxious to see the new Bow system, yet again like construction i will fall in love with it and blow 3 mill on it :wall: lol, knowing jagex they will pull the bow back a month like alot of big updates.

For everyone getting excited over the new bows, don't.

 

 

 

Jagex didn't mention any update regarding our current weapons. They said they would be enhancing CROSSBOWS. Don't be too hopeful, I don't believe these crossbows will be hitting 30+. That would make Karils bow and other range equipment completely dead.

 

 

 

My guess would be making crossbows as good as MSB's for combat, with a slightly different special. Maybe a LITTLE bit better... but probably not too much.

I'm thinking that these crossbows will be updated so that they hit faster then short bows by alot of little and will hit more constantly and such, and this could bring the ranger back into pking.........mage=anceints meleers=barrows, dds...rnagers=hardly anything.

Finally, the dulcet sound of twanging crossbows will once again ring true across the lush fields of, well, everywhere! Crossbows have been considered the runt of the projectile family for a while now, so weÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve added a brand new range of crossbows and enchantable bolts, all of which you can make yourself! The ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅarmÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

It'll probably be a crossbow for level 30 rangers. But if they do make a higher level one, my friend would pee his pants. \

I'm really glad this topic is actually lasting. :D Also, as soon as I find out more or see the system update tomorrow (hopefully), I WILL post about it. It should be a bow for higher lvl rangers, as they deserve credit for all of their hard work and perserverance.

sad but true :) i think if they make new cbows it will be for midle levels. so i would say recharge your crystal bow and be happy for next decade :)

I really hope Jagex will not disappoint with another worthless low-lvl bow that no one will ever use after the update. It would be great if ppl actually started using xbows, since they just take space on the servers and are used by no one. Well only 15 more hours till I see the update.

I'd be greatly pleased if the update was for F2p aswell.

They did un-nerf it this week. You just have to have to have a tag-a-long Lunar mage that can do Energy Transfer for you :wink:.

Only kharil's x-bow is 2-handed. Plus I am told that anti-dragonfire potions combined with mage protect negates fire as well.

Uhh all crossbows are 1 handed besides the karils crossbow. :roll:

i dont know, i just thought that once its a certain time where you live the update would happen :? that way it would be convenient for everyone... but it's just something i thought, it was just one of those things always wondered :

Last minute of members 4-5 hours before the potential update. Gah. If they have a decent ranged update I'm going to swear loudly.

There's one mod I speak to that knows about my thoughts on Ranged. So he knows that if this isn't good, I'll be asking him why :evil:

 

 

 

If Jagex mess this up, I will not be happy, they have this chance to make Range Equal to mage and Melee, for the first time really since the Mage Short was nerfed. But did anyone realise that when the mage short was nerfed that jagex bought out the crystal bow to compensate for it? Crystal bow IS the best bow for training, but it's just too slow to PK With. While Karils bow is fast and accurate, it lacks power, thus useless for pking with.

i really doubt ranged will ever see anything hitting 30's.

Yeah updates for me are normally at 8:30pm (earliest) to 10:30pm but sometimes they come out later so I just see them next time I log on :P

I hope range does get a good update. They haven't really gotten one in a while...
