Manuvdv
My favorite townS are Yanille and Edgeville. Yanille because it's really quiet, I barely get bothered over there... And I love the huge, empty bank! Also, when mining I mine iron just north of Yanille, and bank it in Yanille. Just... great. Edgeville because I'm a Runecrafter for life. Most of my time I'm in Edgeville, crafting Nature Runes. Oh and uhm, remove the advertises up this page! Greedom1
Surely you have been asked the question, "What's your favourite town in runescape?" before. When you stop to think about it they're all good in there own ways really, but which is the best? Lumbridge where it all started off, and where newer players tend to hang around at; Varrock where the more experienced people go to do trades and suchlike. Well my favourite town is Yanille, possibly one of the more overlooked towns. There are numerous reasons why Yanille ranks above all the rest, it has easy access to blue dragons in the ogre enclave ( trying to raise money for guthans), it has the wizards guild (good for topping up rune supplies or getting rune essence), it has the portal to my house where me and my friends can talk or play games, it has bert the sand..guy who gives me plentyful amounts of sand so i can raise my crafting. However, the biggest reason for my fondness for Yanille, is the type of people you encounter. They are usually very quiet, but when asked for help or an opinion they are quick to please. Of all the towns in runescape, Yanille is the one where you still have the feeling that people are nice, and when I'm there, I'm nice. The desire to help somebody else out is always there, and you get the feeling people respect you and value your opinions. i recently discovered a strange hole in Yanille that hadn't been there the last time I had passed, so I went into the bank and asked anyone if they knew about it. Several of them asked me to show them the hole so they could see if they could help me out. Can you think of any other town where people like this exist? I am very suprised that not many people are at Yanille, but in a way I am glad because it has a quiet atmosphere that is easy to enjoy. So What is your favourite town? Personally I spend a lot of time in whatever city is best for the current skill at hand. Since I enjoy farming and it's close to the cammy tele, I enjoy Catherby. However, I have to say your point about Yanille is spot on. The hordes don't descend there and the quiet is nice for power training things like crafting as well (hide crafting too). For especially high levels, I'm sure Yanille is a welcome respite from the noise around the rest of RS. RSN: Greedom1 | QP 248+ | Combat 116 | Total 1920+ | Skills 95 craft, 99 farm, 88 herb, 91 mage, 85 slayer Values? What do they mean?

Camaman
I like the Moonclan Isle. It seems like an unusual city, with some rather interesting people. And it has a Bank. Banks are cool. ~2431~
Onanica
Port Phasmatys is my favourite Runescape city. Dunno why, guess I like the colour scheme.
Viktorkrum77
Edgeville, but only on World 100. Otherwise I like Burthrope and Catherbury. Me doing staff.
RAHK
Yanille for the people and the iron mining (and the other things mentioned). Lumby for the great chest/bank and tears. Fally feels like home and is basically my hub of transportation. Seers/Cammy/Catherby for farming and fishing. The monk fish town for... monk fish. In fact the one major town that I dislike is varrock. No where else will you recieve as many unsolicited trades and begging. There are two major and two minor reasons that I ever visit; the anvil/tree spot and clues/quests. PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? FPSers getting old? Cdub
My favorite town is Moonclan Isle. Firstly, there's a teleport that puts the owner VERY close to the bank. This mode of transportation makes all of the skill-training features of the Isle much quicker. Such features include: Mining - There's an excellent mine directly NE of the bank. As well as containing Pure Ess, the mine holds Gem Rocks (a rare resource), Gold, and Silver ores. RC'ing - The Astral Altar is very close to the bank, and the XP is comparable or greater than that of Nature Runes through the abyss. The XP is further expediated by the bank-teleport. In addition, the Isle's very close to Miscellania. I don't like to let the approval rating drop too low there, so I make daily trips there anyway. The Isle's also very close to my house (in Relekka), which provides another center for easy transportation. Lastly, the requirements to access the Isle are fairly high. In the least condescending way possible, I think this makes the company there a bit better. This is not to say great Runescapians cannot be found off the Isle! :D

FuBai
Hmm...I like llyeta and port phasmis. They are both great skilling spots (brewing, smelting, ectoing, flax collecting and spinning, farming, slayer (elves and vamps), thieving, crafting (cow hides from the undead cows)) with easy access to white berry respawns, bow recharges, magic trees, experiments for training, werewolves, slayer tower, barrows etc. They both have easy tele spots, they both are quiet and most often noob free. Nice people usualy hang out there, and llyeta is a nice place for fletching as it's quite pretty and you don't get pestered much. It's also tighter and more quiet in the bank so you can actualy have a decent converstaion with strangers. Moonclan isle is a close competetor with the gems, rcing, decent monsters, magics, banking for rekella, easy access to waterbirth for dags. The only annoything is you have to lose your ammy space or 1 invent space if you intend to talk to anyone -.-
CaptainZues
I would definatly have to agree with most of you guys, yanille is my favorite town. I love the quick access to blues, the chaos druids for there wonderful drops of herbs, but i especially love how quite the town is. There are never kids just running around screaming random things, and if you need some help everyone there is will to lend a hand.
