I prefer it to paintball because it hurts...but not nearly as much as paintball.

I've played paintball before with like 30 other people. Worst bruise? I got shot in the beanbag from 25~ ft. off. Yeah, it sucked. Another good one is where i got shot on the side of my head, didn't know it. When we got done, it looked like someone sliced my right side of my skull open with a razor. It was a rental game though. I'm putting serious thought into getting a good gun on my b-day. I need to train accuracy! :-w extremely accurate with a real gun, not so much with paintball gun \'

I used to own an angel, I've since sold it though, too expensive, plus too busy to play right now. But my friend lives in Montana, and he had just moved there and a bunch of us went to visit. Well we all brought our guns with us to play , in these woods there was an abandoned village/town, not very big. Maybe 10-15 buildings, and like 5 houses. Well we decided to play in the town, was VERY fun. You didn't know where anyone was, people sniping you, coming from behind doors. Was really cool. I'd like to get involved in paintball again one day, just not now. Busy with other sports and too much money.

I just bought my airsoft gun not too long ago, don't have any pictures of it but I can sport a link to it.

Weighs a hefty 8 or 9 pounds, wood finish, full or semi auto, pretty decent sniper. Havn't had time to fool around with it too much because the neighborhood kids are scared of it.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

I don't play AIRSOFT, but right now my friends have surrounded my house and are shooting my windows with airsoft guns because they're upset that I can't play  .

Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

I have a crossman 350 fps airsoft "shotgun" (still shoots one pellet at a time) mounted with a red-dot paintball scope, great range and super accurate!

I love all of you

Hurt by the cold

So hard and lonely too

I never got the whole love of paintballing, to me hanging in a wood in some smelly uncomfortable clothing, with a stupid gun that doesn't even fire straight, waiting for someone to sneak up and shoot you, knocking you out of the game where you have to wait for like 30 minutes until the next one...is not fun

Air guns however are fun, at the moment me and my dad use his rubbish air rifle thats like 30 years old, but we're getting a new one this friday.

Sig by me....

Ive never been paintballing, but ive heard it hurts...a lot...

Dont the paint balls travel about the same speed as a bullets being fired from a gun?

I got a modded spyder e-99 that's sitting in my closest right now, haven't been paintballing in like a year or so :(

I got a longbow (tac one based) sniper painball gun. Dosen't shoot fast, but it shoots hard and accurate. I got the magazines so I don't need a hoper, and I keep the tank on my back to reduce gun weight. I also have an old semi auto pistol knocking around. It uses older veary small gas cartriges that are good for maby 40 shots. Theres a decent sized island not far from my house, perfect for paintball.

Paintball is fun, but sold my gun due to no time or money recently. Had my friend shoot me in the back at point blank range (5-10 ft.) while I had no shirt on. It feels like being stabbed by knife or something. People say it doesn't hurt, but unless you get lucky it is very painful.

I have broken several airsoft guns, and had some fun along the way. My friend spent about $500 on a military grade training airsoft rifle. It is fully automatic and can break the skin if you are close enough to it. A bunch of us went to some large property one time with an assortment of airsoft and paintball guns. Then we had a massive war using dirt bikes, three wheelers, and go karts. Fun and very painful.

Lag, 2 things. 1; If the paintballs were moving at the same speed as a bullet, you wouldn't be able to track the thing in mid-flight. 2; If they WERE as fast as bullets, well over half of the male population = dead. O:) :ohnoes: What I wanna see is a paintball shotgun that either fires multiple rounds at once or fires special "spreader" rounds/grenades. Maybe they can make a sorta rocket launcher that fires a decent-sized round (shaped like a rocket :P ), which spins and spreads paint mid-flight and explodes on contact, pretty much covering someone hit directly in paint. :boohoo:

ooo...thats nice Revenga. Thats acually one of my favorite airsoft rifles...

But that battery(assuming you have a one tone blue/green/red one. Thats a terrible weak battery. Go to a local airsoft store and get recomendations for a new one. They are usually around $15.

nice choice though!

Noooo.

You can actually see the paintballs coming at you, it's not that fast.

yeah...but they can get fast though.

I acually play with an ex-army ranger and of course he has tons of friends from the army. One of them is a gunsmith and apparently "smithed" a gas air soft rifle that he got up to 1500 fps with .25 bb's. He was "tatting" people from 30 feet away

(He didn't buy it, I wouldn't play with him if he did :P)

Most guns(paintball and airsoft) are usually from 300-600 fps...

in airsoft 300 is the max you can have normally(for official games)

I play with max being 500

They may look odd, but if you've played a game with some friends it's pretty fun. I've only gone once, and it was a fun experience!

You can't play with guns around friends. :[

I like real guns, like the SKS, Makarov and Walther P38. I'm also considering and MPL, but they're hard to find...

the russians are the best! Hands down!

Paintball: Don't own my own, I rent/borrow for paintball. By best experiance paintballing was when I went paintballing with a guy getting married the next saterday. When we were done he had 2 different places where the painballs had broken skin, and both shots were from a soon to be brother in law :P

:? Never owned a paintball gun but my cousins had one they tryed shooting me with when my family went to visit them.

They are about 12 and im 16. They wanted me to run and try hiding while they "prcticed shooting" with real paintballs. I ran up to them plucked each one from all their hands and held 2 of them at about 1 foot distance from their chests O:) My god did they cry  O:)

My friends and I did go to a forest preserve to play with airsoft guns. My friend got hit in a muscle and it looked like it split it down the middle. :anxious: Thought it would kill his arm or something. I took a sniper and got 5 people in the head(Always yell headshot when its done  ), sadly one person was a bird watcher :-$ He didnt mind.

You totally missed what I said didn't you? That picture of the "real gun". Yea, that was an airsoft gun, you can shoot your friends with it. That's why I prefer airsoft, you can totally fulfill your fantasies of "playing James Bond" without having to touch a firearm, but to you it looks just as sweet. Oh and instead of refilling your paint ball gun's tank with paint balls, you reload an aitsoft gun by slapping in a new clip and pulling back the barrel, exactly how its done with the real thing ::'

I have a gun nearly identical to this one, but it's silver
