At the rate the game is going downhill when it comes to hackers, scammers autoers and the like, Jagex need to do somthing drastic quickly or the game will end up in shambles. I'm staying optimistic that they will. :wink: Hopefully we will see a RS3, and Millions of players, and Rs being the biggest Java Based MMORPG game around. :)

August 17, 200619 yr Hmm :-k semms to me like there will be 100000 worlds, and every attempt you make to put a single foot into the wilderness you will recieve a deadly barrage of arrows, spells, and get thrashed by pkers. And before you can swing an axe at a tree, it will have already been felled by a level 999 woodcutter who chops 100 magic log a second and is controlled by an autoer so sophisticated that it is impossible to detect because it has Artificial Intelligence and is able to hack on to the Runescape Database and convert your total hitpoints to 0 introducing you into an endless loop of deaths at so much as a whisper of profanity, intolerence, or the mention of the word Noob, Autoer, Macroer, or any other illegal software, which seems impossibly hipocritical because it is the most illegal of them all and if caught using one, you will be sentenced to life in prison (which is almost eternity due to the major advances in medical science). August 23, 200619 yr I honestly think in five years, there will not be a runescape(or atleast not a popular one). Just face it, at around lvl 95-100, you just run out of stuff to do.. I don't think a good deal of the people playing now will still be playing in five years. I commend Jagex on what they have done so far, but it will take a GREAT deal more to keep Runescape around another 5 years. I wish the best of luck to them! :)

In 2001, the year the game was released, over one million players registered. I've read my history books :shame: I doubt RuneScape will still exist in the way it does now, I think there will be a maximum of one thousand players on per day.
