August 13, 200619 yr defender, for me obby sheild isn't bad for the cost because I've gotten 3 of them from drops : But defender's stats own, +20 stab att/def bonus +19 slash att/def bonus +18 crush att/def bonus -3 mage att/def bonus -2 range att/def bonus + 5 strength It's like a suped up book of balance.

August 13, 200619 yr I Will Update This Every 5 Min lol. Why even bother writting this, you aren't going to sit here updating it for the next week. I vote obby shield I use both tho, basically, if I'm using guthan on the monster I don't care too much about def, and the attack bonus helps, so i use deffender. If im fighting hard monsters (generally lvl 100 +) I'll use obby shield to save food (also looks better ! ) RSN: Bantam222 [105 combat] [1578 total level]Support my quest for 1600 Skill Total!
August 13, 200619 yr heres how training in rs went: rune shield (only thing around) -> unholy book (no def, but attk bonus = fast xp, but no str bonus) -> obby shield (def and a str bonus, at the time part of both worlds, but no attack bonuses) -> rune defender (def/attack/str bonus, same str bonus as obby shield, with GREAT attack bonuses, and still rather nice defence bonus) basically, i only have an obby shield to fight rangers now, +65 range def (same as granite) but with +5 str bonus as well, absolutely no reason to use obby for training since rune defender will speed up your training much more
