"I'll take some apple pie without the crust" - Nick Mason on the 'making of' Dark Side of the Moon video?

...I think that might be Live at Pompeii, actually. "Could I have eggs, sausage, chips and beans, and a tea?".

I haven't a clue what I'll be doing this year  . I suppose someone will tell me?

Yup, Good spot :P (pompeii)

LP - What kind of high school do you go to?

A Public School in Minnesota.

we have Full block (80min) and half block ("Mini's 40min) classes

we can have either (3 full, 2 mini) or (4 full) block classes per semester, and a semester = half the school year which is around ~4.5 months and there are 2 quarters per semester so, 4 quarters per 4.5 months.. :P i dunno im rambling now.

First semester:

Advanced Network Topologies (10 credits)

Internet Security (10 credits)

+2 modules which I haven't chosen yet (20 credits)

Project (40 credits over 2 semesters)

Second semester:

.NET Services (10 credits)

Global Network Architecture (10 credits)

Realtime Networking (10 credits)

XML Development (10 credits)

The options I have for modules in the first semester look awful and boring and it will be a case of choosing which I dislike least.

"I'll take some apple pie without the crust" - Nick Mason on the 'making of' Dark Side of the Moon video?

Wtf kind of credit system is that?

Or is the credit system I'm farmiliar with only happen in the US?

Then a huge break in classes :wall:

See these points were great, not bad. They give you enough time to go into the student union and have a few pints. You will then either forget about the next lecture or go to it and fall asleep. Well that what's happened to me when I had long breaks :P

i am doing algebra 2 in 10th grade they put me in reg algebra 2, so my advice to you is do not slack off in gifted geometry i was in that and i slacked off failed the exam and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i have to go to regular math for the first time in 5 years. but yah in middle school their was 3 math 8 classes, and 2 algebra1 reg, and 1 algebra1 intensified, this means that 50% do not take algebra 1 in middleschool and 33% go take regular algebra 1 and 17 take gifted algebra.

k that is why everyone takes in in the 10th grade on these forums.

once again i failed gifted geometry so do not slack off.

My Senior Year :P

Chemistry

Physics

English

Geometry

Economic Issues

Computer Science

Calculus

You're taking Geometry and Calculus? Here, Calculus is 3 levels above Geometry. Weird.

The mind is its own place, and in itself

Can make a heav'n of hell, a hell of heav'n.

Fortunately for me I believe I'll have training from 2:00 - 4:00pm each day for the soccer team. So that will give me a chance to make time fly by, but tire me out for Geography. Meh, atleast I'll get a chance to sleep in Geo :-w

I hate you...
It wasn't an easy task to get it like that mind you.

That monday tute for DMS was full up untill week two (the week tutes started) and on the morning before the ITP lecturer I decided to check it again (always hopefull to get a 2 day week), and it was free. So I swapped tutes, and moved the MM2B tutorial from tuesday to thursday :)

If that hadn'y happened I would've had a tuesday like...

9:00-11:00

Distributed Multimedia Systems (Tutorial)

12:00-14:00

Multimedia II B (Tutorial)

To those who enquired about the credit system where I am:

You need 120 credits to get to the next year each time. Normally this is by taking 6* 10 credit modules each semester, but as you see I have 1* 40 credit module this year.

I am not surprised it is different from where you are GSW, I am only several thousand miles away.

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

Sophomore. No idea WHEN my classes are but I'm VERY sure they are the following:

AP World History

Pre-Engineering (second Engineering class, first one was Intro to. Kinda weird naming convention, I know)

Computer Programming 1

English 10 Honors

Pre-Calc (Trigonometry? I think)

Chem Honors

Spanish 3

Both semesters. I'd like to do what Anethesia's doing. I just finished up with doing an Exchange/IIS installation on a server, wasn't too bad. That aside network people make a [cabbage]load more than techs or salespeople :D.

EDIT:

My Senior Year :P

Chemistry

Physics

English

Geometry

Economic Issues

Computer Science

Calculus

Heh, my senior year will be something like

AP Prob/Stat (easy)

English 12 AP (easy)

Some Social Studies, dunno what though

Lunch

AP Computer Science

Crafts

Early release for work

I've tried to plan it so it's easy as a mo.

Thanks for clearing that up. Okay, because you said so I won't slack off....in middle school we had pre-alg in 7th and algebra in 8th sooo....i thought that was how it worked. That stinks! I hate regular math it goes so slow. Honors is okay but technical or what not...
