August 17, 200619 yr In 1996, a girl by the name of JonBenet (I think 6 at the time :-k) was found in her was found in her basement dead. The killer raped and murdered a little girl :(. The parents were suspected, by the reporters, of being the killers, which wasn't true, and they had been shunned from everywhere. The mom, Patsy Ramsey, died in June of Ovarian cancer and never got to find out who the killer was. The month is August, and Bangkok officials found John Mark Karr, who admitted to killed JonBenet, 10 years later, this month, and this year! What do you guys think of this? I think it's disgusting. He said it was an accident, but raping someone, then killing someone, dumping their body, and leaving a ransom not is no accident. Makes me sick to think there are people like that in the world. I remember when JonBenet died, when it was on the news. Blech. I can't imagine how the dad feels of knowing he's not a suspect and knowing the killer will get justice. Patsy Ramsey died in June (last month was July), from Ovarian Cancer; not breast cancer. She did get to know that the Police/authorities were close to finding the killer/were watching over the prime suspect. (If your going to post an article, please make sure that you get your facts right. --I highlighted the parts in the 'quoted' section, on what I'm talking about). btw..I saw video footage on the news (the TODAY show) (today..August 17, 2006), of the gravestone. Anyway, she was born, August 6, 1990, and died December 26, 1996. ----------My thoughts------------------ It's nice of the guy to actually come out and say that he killed her. However, it isn't clear that he actually killed JonBenet - his ex-wife says that he wasn't even in Colorado that day, but rather in Alabama with her. Also, this same ex-wife says he used to be obsessed with the case and spend lots of time researching it - which could mean he's guilty, or just as likely, could mean he was just obsessed with the case. Either way, he's a fairly sick individual, but we don't know if he's really the murderer. Everybody hug and spread the love :D

August 23, 200619 yr I'm with merc on this one, something doesn't seem right about this, there seems to be more evidence pointing towards the fact that he couldn't have been there when the killing took place than there is for him to be the killer. Another point is that the little girl was an american beauty pageant winner. Whilst of course the child is totally blameless, you have to question whether or not dressing 6 year old girls up in seductive clothing leaves the pageants to becoming a sort of stalking area for pedophiles.
