deloriagod
I used to like his music but as I matured I've come to dislike his lyrics.. Although I like the beats in many of his songs, the lyrics turn me away.. Internet Marketing For Newbies
00 Quanta
he can rap about anything which he can make it serious or funny, doesn't matter to me. He doesn't "rule" the rap history, I can say Notorious B.I.G and Tupac are better than him.
ctp080188
I think his second album is amazing, everything else just is really really bad. SHH HUT YUH MUH. DERKHED.
Bubsa
He's gone off the boil a lot, but some of the stuff he made between his 1st and 2nd big albums was absolutely brilliant. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
How2PK
He is very good. And deff. one of the most importnat rappers in history. And together with some others he "rules the rap history". vladmoney
Yea you can read the older posts about Eminem because there has been a few of these posts already. Myself? He has cool beats and some of his lyrics are alright (but honestly i don;t really listen to his lyrics). I have a few of his songs on my ipod and i like them. deloriagod
he can rap about anything which he can make it serious or funny I don't mind listening to his more serious songs once in a while but his funny ones tend to get on my nerves.. Scruffy5389
he can rap about anything which he can make it serious or funny I don't mind listening to his more serious songs once in a while but his funny ones tend to get on my nerves.. The new "funny" ones from Encore are trash, but some of his older albums, particularly the Marshall Mathers LP, have some really hilarious lyrics. It's dark, dry humor, and it's a little more mature than the potty humor he put in Encore. I think my favorite album is The Eminem show. Fav song might be Sing for the Moment. The man has some of the best lyrics ever written.
00 Quanta
apparently the funniest one yet was D12 ft. Eminem in My Band

Lageris89
The trash he used to write before he became famous was ridiculously racist. Any Eminem fans should check that out.

Hee hee, I can just picture Steven Tyler writing "his thoughts are wacked, he's mad so he's talking back, talkin black, brainwashed from rock and rap, he sags his pants, do-rags and a stockin cap, his stepfather hit him so he socked him back, and broke his nose, this house is a broken home, there's no control he just lets his emotions go..." timmay929
If all the albums he put out were at the caliber of the Marshall Mathers LP, he would be the greatest ever. But the Eminem Show and Encore were not as good, although Eminem Show had a few good songs, but Encore was horrible. If you wanna hear a good song he made before he became popular, download the song Infinite and you will see how good lyrically he is. And ive also been looking at other forums to see what people say, but what do you people think the best rap song ever is? 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

1_man_army
And ive also been looking at other forums to see what people say, but what do you people think the best rap song ever is? It really depends on what you look formin rap music. For example some people feel lyricism is the most important aspect of rap, others think the beat, others feel it is deleivery while others consider the subject matter or passion to be the deciding factor in whether or not a rap song or a rapper is good or not. Edit - If I had to pick my personal favourite Id go with; Ghostface Killah - All That I Got Is You He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
Bubsa
Best rap song ever? Grandmaster Flash - The Message. No question. All other rap songs merely try to emulate that piece of genius.
