They also do not suffer from the same degree of binge drinking which is a prevalent in many countries with strict control of youth drinking. If someone is allowed to be brought up with alcohol, it losses its 'special' status making it less attractive to drink by youth, and hence a reduction of excessive drinking.

 

 

 

I also highly doubt that he has a serious drinking problem. There is a difference between binge drinking and Alcoholism. Now, binge drinking is not a smart thing to do and is probably best to be avoided. But by binge drinking it is not a sign of a drinking problem, it is a sign of lack of control. what you're saying may or may not be true, but it is irrevelant to this thread - you're supporting your ideas to the wrong people. Drinking in moderation is okay i guess (although i don't advocate it), but this kid is getting DRUNK at the age of 14. Major difference - theres no control or sensibility involved when you get drunk. And seeing as alcohol lead to some of his problems, i don't see why blindly promoting alcohol is helping the OP

What lead to his problems is a lack of self control, not being drunk. Being drunk is never a excuse for stupid behavior and blaming his behavior on being drunk is not focusing on the main problem. His main problem is a lack of loyalty towards his friend.

ok i got ahold of a old teacher and he knos ive made some mistakes but hes gonna help me cuz he use to drink and i kno he wont tell anyone and he knos i put school first:P also just for the record im actaully one of those sweet guys like me cheatin was my first time and it shocked all my friends cuz im not like that for those of u that think im a [bleep] im actaully a nice guy... and me n her were talkin and shes like im willin to stick with u through ur changes cuz i kno ull need someone there by u.(ive been drinkin since 10 fyi....) and the other thing is her parents realized im wut makes her happy so there ok wit me so should i still go out iwt her?

Sorry I have never been one for grammar I personally am more of a math person never a grammar person i do pay attention in english class it just bores me so much i mean ive always gotten atleast a 3.7 in school managed sports drinkin and other stuff but im done with drinkin becuase you are right drinkin dose lead to other drugs cuz i use to smoke weed and zannys but I quit for my girl cuz she wanted me to she said i could drink but now she watns me to so i figured out wut im gonna do im gonna change for her and stick wit her cuz im smart enough to kno i do care about her.

by my girl its a expression i was raised around and i really do care about her and yes ive been drinkin since 10... and yes i do have 3.7 the lowest i ever got was 3.3 and i was pissed about it.. i have always put school first

The data I was quoting is just for alcohol. Independent of the form it is in. Although wine does offer additional benefits other then its alcohol content. Wine is probably the best form of alcohol to drink due to the additional benefits it offers. But the same decrease in heart disease is present in spirit and beer drinkers.

"Stumbling is ok"? No, drinking to the extent it blatantly effects you isn't good. I don't see going out and drinking about 3+ bottles of whatever a good time. Drinking 1 or 2 bottles with food is where I leave it.

or maybe by runin his future hes the only smart one here realizein usally when a 14 year old drink theres usally drugs envolved and he may need help and someone to help him out yes i have 3.6 carrer gpa becuase i didnt start partyin alot till this summer i only did it occasionly through the year
