Ok this may sound weird but in all 4 years of playin runescape i have yet to meet a player who will be a good honest friend... I have lost a lot of items and a lot of time dealing with people who claim to be my friend and actually only want to take advantage of my trusting nature. If anyone else has this problem and wants to hang out with someone who wont cheat, lie or scam them... reply here

I'd rather meet friends from other games. Some of my best friends, that i've gone on to meet in real life are from games like Tribes2, Delta Force Land Warrior, and rainbowsix. old school games. not only that, runescape is loaded with younger teens.

Meh. I just got back to RS after about 3 years (Before RS2 came along), and lost contact with all of my RS friends, except 1. This is due to my memory being the worst ever, which means I can't remember 99% of the things and people I talked to back then. I'm feeling really lonely on RS right now, so maybe you could add me: Hyper puss \

I used to only trust real life friends, but I have one truly great friend who I would trust my life with, even though we met over Runescape and live on opposite sides of the world. Nowadays I wouldn't even trust my real life friends as much as I trust him.

 

 

 

We were in a low level clan together as newbies. I never really spoke to him any more than any of my other friends though. Then I created my own clan about a year later after our old clan had split up, and I asked him if he wanted to join and he said he would, and he co-founded this new clan. It lasted for a couple of years, it wasn't very big, and it was a lot of hard work but he was always willing to help with the clan, and even started up a clan shop which sold ores, bars, fish, runes, armour at ridiculously low prices to our own members.

 

 

 

Sometimes I'd talk to him about what my goals were. Like "Have you seen the new dragon scimitar? I'm saving up for one now. I'm 10k away!". And he'd just offer me 10k there and then. Sometimes, I'd help him out in the same way. I remember this one time I was saving up for full infinity and he just offered me 2.5 mil to help towards it, which was like all the money he had in the world at that time. I refused, but knowing him, he probably gave the money to another of his good friends.

 

 

 

Once I quit, and I thought it would be for good so I gave everything I had away to him. That included my full dragon (no chain though), and abby whip, when they were worth about 8 mil each. Then later on I returned to the game, and the first thing he said is "Do you want your stuff back?" and he gave everything back just like that.

 

 

 

Shortly after the easter just gone, I really felt so much in his debt after all the stuff he'd done for me, I invested everything I had in 4 easter eggs and gave them to him. Now they're worth about 50 mil in total, but I think he gave 2 of them away to his friends, and 1 of them back to me when construction was released so I could fund my new house.

Its great when you can meet people like that. Unfortunately most people in runescape are only after your money and items. Or immidially start with their immature behaviour. I used to have a pretty close friend on runescape. Then I've quite. Since I came back I never saw him again. I think he quitted too. And the worst part is that I forgot his name and had to delete it off my friends list for some business contacts. :cry:

There's no better community then the Tip.It community. World 99, Edgeville, I logged in and 6 people HYT'd me. (It's a great feeling to be HYT'd, because you know that all the posts that have helped and contributed pay off). We were all messing around, when out of the blue Dabestkillas just PMed me saying wanna wear my d chain? Yes I replied, and she actually did trade me the chain. The moment I got it I pretended to alch it then run off, but I gave it back again. Then straight afterwards she lent her Robin to me too.

 

This was just the items being lent to me, she also lent them to alot of other Tip.It'ers and including her skirt. Another player even was lending out his Red H'ween mask. Ah, you definately chose the right forum if you were looking for nice, honest players.

well..maybe besides my real life friends, i'd trust a tipiter : but i only know 1 and he doesn't post anymore =( we pked way back when the only armor i can wear was steel. really nice guy. too bad i rarely see any tipiter in f2p world 7 :(
