i think we should have an animal skill and you can own cetain animals to the lv of youre skill so if you we high enough lv you could ride a horse :-k and then if ur reali high you could ride a dragon from city to city. like lv 1 you can own a cat, get to lv 10 and you can own a dog ect. and there is a shop whee you can buy them and you need to take them to the vets if they need a check up :thumbsup:

i like this idea, jus that u can own a cat anyway, and a fish, i like the dragon idea, fleying in the sky, over everyone. me ad my friend thought of a horse-riding skill.

you can also get accsesories for youre pets and balls and toys n stuff... and then mebe there could be a jousting arena if you have a hourse you can joust :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I don't like it becuase this isn't what i think of when thinking of runescape "beeing able to fly on a dragon"...

You are proposing the same thing as horses her bub...a quicker way of transport, owning animals. buying stuff for them....its horses except more diverce. A. WE don't need more transport: Grappling hooks, agility shortcuts, 3 sets of magic teleports, running, magic carpets, chartering ships, quest teleports canoeing and more. No i'm pretty sure we're good on that front. Just cause u can't use lvl 37 tele to falador, doesn't mean you have to create a skill and own a dragon to get tehre. Anyway, this seems just pointless...why do u explain the point and the actual skill before you just say "there should be this" and "you could be able to do this" next time. O btw...jagex has said no to POP (player owned pets) besides cats and fishes, like real animals.

would be cool to have a donkey pulling a cart of your stuff, but I dont find it very realistic

Jagex won't do this. Its not like walking from city to city takes a long time now is it? Also, if you're that lazy, you could just teleport, like me! There is no call for horses and dragons.

Any "uptightness" comes from people being tired of seeing the same rehashed idea being repackaged as something "new" every other week. It's not gonna happen. Ever.

 

You've presented a bad idea, we've pointed out why it's a bad idea and why it will never be put into the game. Telling the critics to hush and loosen up won't strengthen your position.

Agreed. It just doesn't fit the runescape image... slaying demon monsters, and then loving your own little puppy- it just doesn't fit :notalk:

try and think about this.....300 horses in the middle of varrock can you even think of the lags? it would be insane

Maybe you didn't see that one right. 300 horses. With people, chatting up a storm, while moving around, plus whatever is being dropped and what they're wearing, plus all the animations for NPC's and area, plus trades. ANY computer would get lag from that.

 

 

 

I think it wouldn't be horrible to see NPC merchants with carts with donkeys attached, but it's not realistic for players to have it. Especially the dragon part. Now, I could see someone using an entertainment skill of some sort charming a snake, then working their way up to charming a dragon for some sort of quest where you ahve to get treasure without killing the dragon, but other than that, I see no possibilities.

You have so many ideas which will not work on RuneScape. As mentioned bother - the lag. 2nd, there are plenty of ways to get around RS. As you have so many ideas, why not persue a career in making your own game which implments all your ideas like flying dragons, football and betting on other peoples fights into your own game?

 

 

 

I dont like this idea, you need to think about whether or not your idea would work. Personally I wouldnt want to see dragons everywhere clogging up my screen. Theres already enough of them in the training spots. Jagex are doing well in the game and do not need to introduce more transportation methods at this present time.
