Runescape in 2 years

Featured Replies

What do u think runescape will be like in 2 years?

I think the price will go up for p2p to like 5.50-7$ is my guess and the game will hopefully be asome by like tons on new skills and cool stuff like that. :D

Ok, first of all a membership is already $5-7, $5 if you pay for the whole year, and $7 if you pay month-by-month. Second, and this is my opinion, I highly doubt Runescape will be around in 2 years, and if it is I won't be playing. :o

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

f2p will never be gone jages said it them self when they turned rs classic in to members

Runescape's not going anywhere, anytime soon. Just take a look at the World Selection page next time you go to login, and try to count up the players. Runescape's still one of the most popular MMORPGs around, and there are no signs of decline in interest.

I remember a few weeks ago a friend of mine referenced me to an article that included Runescape's monthly turnover from membership fees. It was in the millions region. A company making that much money isn't going to blindly run away from their game, they're going to put everything they have into keeping this level of success, and maybe even increasing it. I think Runescape has at least another 5 years shelf-life GUARANTEED. After that however, it's somewhat unpredictable.

i wont be playing in 2 years considering how many work there will be in school and how many new mmorpgs will be released. maybe theyll be tons of new updates to discover ::'

There will be more 8 year old immature kids playing? :-k

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

I think that in 2 years Runescape will be 2, maybe even 10 times bigger than it is now.

We might be able to make custom clothing for our characters.

Or build towns!

I'm rambling, but there are so many possibilities...

What kinds of crazy things do you think will be in runescape in the future?

i think that runescape will completely change within 2 years.

there will probably like 3 or 4 new skills and the graphics be way better and there would probably be like 2500 quests.

Well, I probebly will still be playing cause I can't seem to give it ompletly up. I have quit for many months but I always come back.

I hope to see a couple of things in two years time and one of those is a bigger playscreen. They have to find something to increase that playscreen, even if it is just for adding new skills.

I think the game will become to big, and people will lose interest in it.

J2SE 6.0 will be upon us by the end of this year, possibly making better use of graphics acceleration.

Will that be the catalysts for a further push to do more than you ever thought JAVA could do, or maybe even time for them to think about RS3, if the shift would pose too many compatibility problems - though RS2 definitely DOES run on JAVA 6.0 beta 1 and beta 2.

Whips - 100k

New weapons

Dragon plate/Kite - :P

me - 99 Merchanting  , Blue phat if any left... (jk, that'd take forever)

I think the party hats will have increased in price, the graphics will be better and we will have alot of new skills :) .
