Im rock solid, i will not scam or decieve. If i want to borrow something, e.g. my friend let me borrow him dragon axe so i could wc faster, and he let me borrow his green for a party, he would let me, i would always give it back.

If he asks for anything off me that i can afford i will buy it him so he can use it.

Hmmm, I may get flamed for this, but I feel the need to say it nonetheless:

My views on scamming have nothing to do with friends. I'm not good friends with many people in rs. If anyone in rs gave me a phat, and said:"Take this and never talk to me again",I'd do it in a heartbeat (there are a total of 2 people who are exeptions to this).

My reasons for not scamming is that I object to it morally. If I knew someone who had stolen their phat, and they died, you bet your arse I'd keep it. Otherwise, friend, foe, or perfect stranger, I'd return the rare.

Actually I wish someone would trust me enough to lend me something of that much value, but it's not something I'd ever ask of anyone, as I could never ask something of someone that I'd not be willing to do (you'd have to pry my mask from my cold, dead hands :P ), for the same reasons I'd never do it (namely the fact that I don't know how much I really know them, combined with more and more people in rs becomming greedy)

Quit runescape, now playing EVE-Online(Mail Cambarus and say hi  )

Wow, the preverbrial high horse rides again.

Now, i don't really play Runescape anymore [but love TIF and can't stop visiting] so this obviously means i don't really have friends. An obstacle that this thread has not discussed is "who are your friends". Let's assume i have 5 friends, 5 acquaintances, 5 strangers and 5 "enemies".

5 friends would be able to lend me their rares and would receive them no problem.

Acquaintances would not - why are they giving me valuable items?

Stranges would not - why are they giving me valuable items?

Foes - definately not...stupid foes.

However, scamming the item is totally different and would not do this to anyone.

The PK'd party hat argument i think literally defeats the whole object of the wilderness...I'll let you think why the wilderness is there.

I would NEVER scam my friends, nor foes for that matter. Even a blue party hat for instance isn't something I would even think about stealing from a good pal. My price of bribing is basically infinity. However if the other person desperately insists about giving me something valuable as a gift I will in most cases accept the offering. Wouldn't we all ::'

I have a few friends who have Phats, and seeing I'm to poor they sometimes let me borrow one. I always return them thou, don't see why you should waste good friends for a game money.

It's like in real life, you'r not going to rip off your mates there either...

i have friends in rs, but id never hand expensive stuff over to them to borrow. maybe that sounds selfish but everybody works for there own stuff.. not to borrow it out or to let some else get a kick out of it. 99% of my friends, i have never met in real so borrowing is risking.

its all good saying oh if i found a blue phat id give it back etc etc but most people would'nt even though they would'nt admit it. lol

being a genuine person earns respect an i respect any genuine players and id be willing to help anyone out with a problem. but nowadays u dont know who u can trust on rs. is it worth the risk?

I am actually surprised how much and often TIF people give to me to try on and use. All of Scope's cash, Ajc's sceptor, Dabest's outfit worth more than my life, but I always give it back. Heck if I did anything like that, I would be kicked off of here. I cant live with out tif. Thats just horrible to do something like that.

I would keep anyone's stuff unless it is deemed that you deserve to have it taken. O:)

A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

money isnt everything

money cant buy friendship

money is the root of all evil

i always try to play as honestly as possible and treat all my friends in rs like my friends in real life. When i get scammed or when some1 tries to scam me, it really pisses me off.
