icecube
Firemaking back in RSC. It was the "useless" skill, yes even more useless than it is now, I was determined to get level 99 and become another legend. \ While training it I met the player at rank #2 for firemaking, that was an honor! Caisadi
First: Noob = Annoying person Newb = New person My NEWB days: I wandered around Lumbridge for a while, and got lost, then somehow (dunno how) I realised i'd walked all the way to Barbarian Village, then someone gave me a set of full bronze, then I just went and killed some chickens. I was the exploring type.

icecube
When u wer a noob (cmon face it, we wer all noob once) wat skill did u focus on. apparently most noobs start by woodcutting and firemaking. thats wat i did anyways and all noobs around seem 2 be cuttin wood. Have any ideas? : the funny thing is, i started rs with a whole new account with 3m cash from my old main, then by luck.. i got 53m in 2 hours.. long story, but i didn't trained skills to train and get money... i just wasted it all on mage :P >_> Isn't that breaking the rules if you transfered 3M from your main to a new account? rosco
I used to collect cowhides and sell them to some guy standing by the cow pen for like 40ea. I had a bronze scimitar, and only used defensive because I was afraid of dying, didn't know what happened when you died back then.

Cbkviper
I remember back when I first started, I would sit in the goblin house and pick up iron daggers at the spawn, then sell them to the general store in varrock :D Then I discovered mining :)
Airegorne
I started with mining and smithing. I would mine 14 copper and tin in varrock, then WALK to Lumbridge and smelt it. THEN i'd walk all the way back to Varrock and smith it into items. Finally, I'd sell them at the general store. LOL. \

hungryblader
For my first few days of rs, whenever I would log out, I would find a quiet spot, in the trees, usually by the river lum, make a fire, "set up camp." AlmightyGizmo
i always focused on mining and smithing, they were the way i made money back then and they were my higest skills (mining still is but only by one level now)
caztoday
oh it is funny to remember being a newb. I had never heard of the game or had any player friends, so the tutorial island was my introduction. I guess I didnt pay close attention. I set off immediately over the bridge and found the goblin house, grabbed a few things and ran. Discovered the chickens, and spent ages killing them while constantly asking people what level I was now (lol). After that I went for a wander and saw someone killing a unicorn, and remember shouting at them to leave it alone (poor beautiful creature). Got lured into the wildy ( a great place to train ), and died and remember thinking, well I enjoyed that but it was a short game. It took me about a week before I spotted the map at top right and found i could click on it to move about, and about 2 more weeks before I knew you could pan the camera (wow, thats a neat idea lol), but I never begged just built it up slowly by doing bits n pieces (I still an and I`m easily distracted). I am still learning level 72 now), and in many ways think I will be a newb for quite some time, after all we cant learn everything in two minutes. Obssesive compulsive - not me, I`m just totally addicted to RS :D
starsteller
Thank goodness I'm a do it yourself type. Someone tried to scam me with the "trim armor" thing, so I spent about 15 min asking people how to trim armor before someone kindly explained to me that it couldn't be done. Oh yeah, I worked on mining/smithing. Thank the world for spell checkers.

Justthefr00b
Attack. Seriously. I wasn't much of a "newb" though because I used common sense and used the world map to tell me where to go. I stayed out of the wilderness, I made my own, if scarce, money, and I wasn't a stupid idiot. ROSA PARKS HAS JUST BEEN HIT BY A PIECE OF CHICKENRetired until further notice since quite frankly RuneScape has been boring me and it's not getting any better and WoW happened.
