When u wer a noob (cmon face it, we wer all noob once) wat skill did u focus on. apparently most noobs start by woodcutting and firemaking. thats wat i did anyways and all noobs around seem 2 be cuttin wood. Have any ideas? :

i was always a self sufficent newb. i never begged. i actually used something called..........................A BEGINNER MAP!!! and i actually payed attention in the tutorial. also i mined and smithed for cash. it got me trough

I'll have you know I was never a noob, I was just a newbie. (for example, I actually knew there was a world map without being told, ha!)

 

 

 

Mostly I trained mining and sold ess to people for money. I also worked on woodcutting and fishing to a lesser degree.

I didn't focus on any skills, but I did wander around a lot, and tried to focus on not seeing myself as a noob. Too many low level people think they are noobs, and never seem to get the thing over and stop thinking about it. It's all about self-confidence.

i runed like crzy in lumi cuz i was a fright to get killed by a lvl 90+ with red mask... and a skull above his head! scary! :oops: killed goblins till i had more then 1000 gp payed toll for the gate and bought a mith scimie... was thinking you needed to keep: pic axe, axe, armour, wapons, runes all the time with you... till i died with full rune + scimie + pic axe + axe + many runes etc... i had a feather store on lvl 10 and i maded my 1st 300k on lvl 25

I got very into the game, and payed attention to the tutorial. I got my first suit or iron, and later, steel, from my friends. They helped me start, and now I rely on myself more. I only begged once.

when i was a really nooby i killed goblins for money and bronze sq shields. at the best days i even earned up to 100 gp a day! but when i saw ppl with so much money i understood that fighting goblins cant be the best way of making money. so i strated mining and smithing this was great for me and i still like it.

when i was a newb i started with wood cutting, then moved on to fishing lobbies on karramja :P, only problem was, i was only able to bank about 14 fish a trip because i insisted to keep all my items in my invantory lol, hey! you never know when you need 15 body runes.

thank god for me, when i started my neighbours and mates were all like lvl 50 and helped me on my way. also some ultra awesome lvl 100 odd member called moongerm (if anyone knows him in game PLEASE tell me, coz i havent seen him in years, literally)

 

he effectively took me under his wing and always bought my ess for 35 each (5 above normal price!) mining ess for him got me lvl 50 odd mining lol.

I was a lets do lots of quests, then make a new account and do lots of quests... etc... Until my cousin started playing, and paid for my membership for a while, meaning i stayed with the account i'm playing now...
