I just said that, I don't know if its true or not. It is the common consensus by the digg community though :D . Like I said above it has never really affected me with video games. Recently with DVDs it has though, had to pay about 50% more to get season 2 of Battlestar Galactica. If I had a region free DVD player, I could have bought and watched the UK version (region 2) which is season 2 in one box set. Instead, I had to buy the US version (region 1) of season 2 which is split in two box sets. And the slashdot community generally agrees that it was a feature mainly for games/movies that would have different publishers in different regions... but it's pretty much useless anymore since there's usually just the one publisher around the world (gaming wise, not sure how it is with movies). EDIT: Hopefully I get a Wii opening day and possibly spend a bit extra on the Wii browser... not buying any games though as I'm hoping to keep the price under $300 >.o I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam. The really, really important information that I need now is where can I get one the day it comes out? I don't think Best Buy stays open til midnight, so am I expected to wait 10 hours before I get it? That is ten hours I could be spending playing Zelda. Do you think Wal-Mart would put them out at midnight? I might try that, because that would be awesome. What is the deal with pre-ordering? I heard that people who pre-ordered the 360 had to wait longer sometimes. It doesn't make sense to me, I guess I don't understand how pre-orders work. Nintendo of America said it wouldn't be, NoE said that NoA was wrong. Like I said before it doesn't really affect me, but it would be nice to get a confirmed yes or no. Yeah, that is what the Nintendo of America guy said. Nintendo of Europe guy says that it isn't true. It does, but not nearly as sophisticated as the "Remote" part of the controller. The Nunchuck's motion sensing is equivalent to what will be the PS3 controller.
