September 16, 200619 yr I like regular rock, prog rock, soft rock (when done well, this is quite possibly my favourite), and many other variations on rock. I especially like it when bands/artists use something other than the standard guitar/bass/drums. At very least throw in some keyboards, but (when done well), I enjoy many intruments not normally seen in rock music (sax, organ, banjo, violin/other string instruments). Oh and I also like some pop-rock. Oddly, I don't really like hard rock. Some I like, but the greater majority of what people call "classic rock", (a lot of the time they are refering to classic hard rock) I just don't particularly like.

I mean...yeah I listen to alot of metal, but lately, more progressive-esque music has eeked its way into my schedule. cKy is far and away my favorite band, and they're all over the map as far as what genre they fit in.
