Why all at once?

Featured Replies

maybe they have toooo many updates this month and thats why they did mltiple updates, or possibly they said they'd do these updates a month ago and thats why they put them out now?

Imo i'd rather wait one month and have lots 'o updates in stead of every week :) :)

It was easier to do these together?

Yeah, it'd probably be way easier for them to just do them all at once.

Well they've been updating the RuneScript, and I guess all these updates have been tuned to the new version instead of the old one. Also, if they're doing updates to gameplay (the new interface and the sounds) then it's probably best to put these out together because otherwise it would mean adding a 'change volume' thing for both the old and new interfaces. I'm not sure why they updated Lumby quite so much. They didn't need to put that in here.

However, the bank is fine although I always used Al Kharid bank. Going up two flights of stairs is annoying. Apart from Gnome Stronghold, where it's the only bank for a long way around, this is about the only upstairs bank.

I'm not sure why they have so many banks so close together in F2P. Al Kharid is close enough once you've done the Prince Ali quest.

I helped on the Black Knight's Fortress Quest Guide. Stop messaging me in game! All I did was say BKs are lvl 33, not 31!

All skills to level 30!

Well think about it. All at once. Makes it abit easier.

Seperate. Imagine official fourms. Plus the delay in better updates.

It must be easier to do all at once.

Last week Jagex said they were redoing runescript and they hadn't finished all the updates, so they delayed them so that they would work properly having been fully tested.

They also had to do them all this week, because they were September updates and next week is October

If they did 1 a day it'd be

New sounds--Big deal...so now we have new sounds

Skill tutors--Well this is alright, helps out the lower levels mostly

New Interface--Ok, change can be good...but by itself..nothing.

But now its, OMG! Three Updates in 1 day...and some ppl fail to see that they are just minor updates.

They are all small updates, and you would complain if they came out only 1 a week.

Sounds like your average RS player, whining for the updates to come then asking why they come out..

Updates keep me addicted to the game. I still haven't logged on other than for the tet party on saturday since the slug quest.

they dun look signifiacant to me..

so maybe its alright to be together

Usually jagex does one update a week...but this month they did like what 3, or 4 on the same day. Wouldn't it have been better to separate them? Whats their purpose? -.-

omg, dont do an update..complain.

do an update...complain.

do too many updates...complain

shut up?

Here's something real for you to ponder instead of lame stuff like that:

Imagine me singing to you in a high pitched voice: cry me a riveeer.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either

a fool or a coward.

Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law

is both.

For a wounded man shall say to his assailant:

"If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven."

Such is the Rule of Honor.

Honestly? They did them all at once to hide the fact that they were JUNK UPDATES. Sneaking them in with Area Sounds got people excited.

To me this topic is smelling slightly spammish...

I know it would be easier to keep updates for once a month and 2 times a week, because they need to update the game and do a system update. Not only does this kick everyone off every server, but it's really annoying!

haha this thread makes me laugh

people complain when jagex doesn't do an update for a while.

then you complain about the update that comes next...

and now your complaining about too many?

give me a break lol :ohnoes:

These aren't too many updates, they are many, but they aren't that many. Honestly, why complain? If there weren't so many updates would you still complain? Why do people ALWAYS complain about something? smiley3ru8.gif

Sometimes people complain that I complain to much ^_^ (It's a quote, place it in you signature \' )

On topic: What's wrong with so many updates at one time when they are so small to care about?
