Run button isnt as bad as everyone thinks

I tried the new run button yesterday because I was as bored as usual, and found that to turn run on and off, you dont actually need to click the tiny circle, clicking on the man (which is a lot larger), it toggles the run on and off. In fact clicking on either circle serves the same purpose.

 

 

 

Sorry if this has been posted before, but its something i noticed. This run button is actually BETTER than original if you get used to it,

Its better looking, and placed better, although I can think of a better place for it, and that would be in the combat menu, IMO.

I don't mind the new run button (just have to get used to clicking the different button), but I'm pretty annoyed at the weight thing. It doesn't take up too much space, and having to bring up the big, clunky screen just to check it is a nuisance.

 

 

 

Apart from that, I definitely like the new interface. Especially being able to get a close-up of your character (although some 360 rotation would be nice). Bravo, Jagex.

I love the new run button, and everything in the new interface. The spriting, compared to Jagex's old standards, is absolutely beautfiul, and it's very visual oriented, allowing foreign people and new players an easier playing experience. It's also very stylish looking, which will keep newer players playing.

 

 

 

The viewing your character up close tool is also great, but it can get annoying when you just want to pop down and look at your equipment stats. I assume I'll get used to it soon.

 

 

 

All in all, it was a fabulous new addition.

I really didn't like the new run icon when it came out but now i use the CTRL. and without realising it ive got used to this and found it easier than the old version :shock:

I would agree, also, all the other 'On/Off' buttons seem more helpful considering you dont have to click a seperate square, instead just the icon, although the notification that have it on or off takes a tiny bit of squinting.

 

 

 

Glasses, bigger moniter, sit closer to screen?

 

 

 

I can see it without my glasses on even, plus the color differance..

 

 

 

I've been saying this since people started complaining about it..too quick to complain they are.

Yeah, the run button on the combat interface would be excellent. Easy access while pking, barrowing etc.

the problem i have with it is that is now in the 4th icon, ig ot really used to going to the 5th...
