toast647
im pretty sure i saw a suggestion like this on the rs forums once. but it said something like this: i think jagex should have some sort of wearable item to represent an acheivement such as a 99 skill, but we cant just get the cape right away, we will have to talk to a certain NPC and do a task for him example 99 cooking would be something like cook 1k sharks Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool
aglips
im guessing there will be a 126 cb cape to? Which means lvl 99 att, str, def, hp and prayer.
retaxis2
lol if this was to be fair 100mil cooking exp = 13mil slayer exp thats about how hard cooking is compared to slayer.
Celluzion
You must remember though, those who got a high cooking level before all these Cook-X and Fletch-x rubbish came along, how would they feel if their cape were not as "Prestigious" as the rest just because JAGeX themselves made it easier. Known formerly as Ameoba3000. Now known as Vigoss.

Sin81
i'm not going to bother with trying to get my skills up specially for the capes, i am still going to aim for my 99 prayer, only 40k dragon bones to grind :) viewtopic.php?p=3956321#3956321 Click here to view my guide to Your Kingdom
mixand
most impressive capes... runecrafting slayer slightly less impressive...but still good. crafting herblore smithing woodcutting fishing not impressive cooking fletching what about when their was no x cook or fletch? and in classic their wasnt bank notes their was certs alot harder to use it would of taken them ages for cooking and fletching people say cooking and fletching are the easiest but theirs people who got that in classic "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel AdamsMy new site. [bETA]
darkblade986
So, as cooking is the easiest / fastest level 99 for most players (Cons is arguably faster). Will there be a massive rush to cook? Tell that to the 5000+ people with 99 Fletching, compared to the 4600 lv99 fishers... I'd say fletching is the easiest skill to get 99 in... don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
jjrox32
I've gotta say that the two rarest will be farming and smithing. Well, maybe not smithing cause you just neede to be rich to lvl that. :)

cotamatias
Must....buy....lobsters...! Anyway, I like this cape idea, but it might create a warped economy, with a rush to buy supplies. It always is a bit warped after an update, will go back to normal soon after though. Qizx2- ArchmagePersonnumber100- Warlock for life.Would you? drgnslyer_15
Big Question: What is the firemaking cape going to look like if we already have a fire cape?I'll show ya when they come out.... :P lol I think it'll depend on how each cape looks. I imagine capes for stuff like 99 fletching or cooking won't look quite as good as ones for 99 slayer or herby, because they're more of an achievement. I'm sure they all might look good though. A 99 is a 99. Not everyone achieved their cooking level of 99 in a week straight of no life cooking with cook-x, and not everyone with 99 fletching did so on rs2. I really don't think theres a single 99 that is "less worthy" as any other. And I don't think the cape for say cooking, would have lava cape stats. Maybe a melee related cape. Jagex said the capes will give boosts in said skill. So I would imagine the cooking cape giving a significant boost to cooking, possibly no burn sharks without gauntlets. (Would be nice to swap for goldsmith)there weren't nearly as many 99 cookers in rsc as there are now... Same with fletching i think there were a handful of 99 fletchers they didn't even leave the top page of hs... a lot more people got 99 fletching and cooking when rs2 came... i only managed 70 fletch and 90 cookin in rsc RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
