All trying to mimic Eric and Dylan I guess...

No, within the 3 weeks delay. First at my CEGEP, Dawson College, then a Colorado school, then this one.

Man, I can't believe it's the 3rd one happening this morning.

More to come...

The one in Colorado was not a mimic of Colombine, it was an older man who was interested in a sexual crime.

My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley

And dont forget about the one in Wisconsin where the principal died the other day.

you could add the one in orange high(which was too close for comfort to me)

but no1 was killed

There was also another shooting in Montreal, Canada where a guy went into a highschool (or was it colledge) and shot people with his machine gone... Fortunately only one or two people were dead, but more were injured.

This is why gun laws help, we haven't had a large scale school massacre since dunblane in 1996.

Too much freedom can be a bad thing.

I think there shouldn't even be a 3rd Amendment. I can understand why they made it in the 1700s, people had to hunt. But we live in modern socity, people dont hunt for food anymore! (At least 99% of the population)

You're talking about the 2nd amendment, the right to bear arms. Not the 3rd, the right that the government can't quarter troops in civilians homes(worded differently)

The shooting took place about 20 miles outside of where I was born. I think it's crazy. Why the amish, though? I don't see why he chose some of the most peaceful, kind people to kill. It's just wrong.

this kind of stuff really saddens me...

i can just hear the children screaming and crying as the person cocks the gun and begins the process of elmination.

I cant beleive how demented people can be...

there was a video in a topic a while back which got locked, it was of 2 teenagers going about a school killing people. And as they took several "hostages", one was a young girl, the boys told her to be quiet, yet she still cried... he cocked the gun, and she screamed.. and he shot.. and it came to an end.. the boys laughed, and continued about there business.

If i was a student who whitnessed this, as if like standing or sitting next to that girl, i beleive i would of been tramatized enough, that if i survied i would of killed myself, i could never get over something like that.

Yeah. I don't see how someone could bare to be the killer. They must have no compassion at all to be able to ignore the screams and the begging. It's depressing to think about how the victims must've felt during the second before their life ended. It had to have been the longest and most painful second of their life. Some people are just cold.

It's a college not highschool. I mentioned it in my post anyway.

One student died: Anastasia DeSousa, first year bussiness student.

The other ones were injured from light to extreme injuries {from bullet wounds on the arm, leg, to inside the head.}

The gunman was acutally a graduate Indian student from Dawson who despise society {from Vampirefreaks.com.}

This is why gun laws help

Eh no. Now you guys are telling me there's already 4 shootings within 3 weeks and those guns laws still did not prevent those 4 incidents.

I've read today that the guy hated some of "those girls" for some revenge from 20 years ago. That sounds very famliar from that Marc Lepine motive {blaming women for his personal failure in life} and Columbine. People who are seeking revenge were already walking toward that direction: the path of loathe {nobody accepts them, they blamed him, they don't want them and then, they hate society.}Then they will become, heartless and cold {just like the recent shooter at my college and from today's Amish school.}

Yes, that beautiful place does look peaceful, just like any school, college and university that are supposed to welcome any new students with open arms until the shootings happen.

With all those events happening, it is clear we still have this problem unsolved. I first coudln't believe the moment I go in my CEGEP's library that the automatic rifle began firing randomly like at Columbine. I couldn't believe that kind of incident would repeat in Canada at the same city for the third time.

I've said to myself that if there's another shooting happening soon within North America, we have serious problems to get solved. It's too late until I found out the Colorado and today's incidents.

Too bad since the trend has already started, society needs to change.

Aren't most shootings done by people who were bullied?

I swear, about 2 years ago, I was ready to bring a gun to those 2 guys, but the school set me up with a shrink, so all good.

I used to have a link to my school's project to provide fresh water to a Kenyan Village, but the sig police changed the link to say something, which, if followed, leads to an "ahem" adult website. Let me ask you. Which do you think is worse?

Aren̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t Amish suppose to be nice and holy?

Yes, and the guy who killed them wasn't amish. Simple.

FFS, it's the Second Amendment. That's the worst mistake you can make in an argument.

I own a firearm. I don't hunt, and it's not for protection. I use it for fun, and shooting clays is much more fun than videogames.

Really?

Well, you have a school

and guns

and murders...

Ok ok, I'm lost :P

The news showed similarities to another school shooting though where the gunman let all the boys out and kept the girls in
