Bubsa
For a minute, I thought you were talking about the Arizona Cardinals, and their ever so calm coach... Fadfdfd
Funny thing they call it the "World" Series when only US plays...heh. It's because we could kick everybody else's [wagon]! How bout you British put together a team (not full of all stars) and see if you can beat us! :P Heh heh, But really, was a fantastic game, gunna be some very upset people at my school today. We are in the tri team area, Mixed Yankees, Red Sox, Mets fans... Oh well, it's Friday! And I'm a Red Sox fan btw. Go Tigers!
Dalcyte
heh, i'm a die hard cards fan all the way, and honestly i'm not expecting much. The tiggers have been restin for a week as someone else said and just overall a good team. But i'm just incredibly impressed that the team with the worst record in baseball that made it to the playoffs is goign to the world series. Canada even beat your team  Anyways, I'm disappointed St. Louis won. I'm a fan of Carlos Delgado and was hoping his first trip to the post season would be good. Not to mention Chavez' catch should be enough to advance them :P

However, since the Mets are now out, I'm going for Detroit to win it all. I loved their series vs NY. They were awesome. Rogers' and Bonderman's games were intense 8-)
slushee
hahahaha this is hilarious because you know FOR A FACT detroit will win it if even sweep the series based on how good they are. the cards are going to get beasted face it. lmao and they're facial expressions are going to be worse then the mets'

foolgool
Just shut up.. lol.. I think Molina's on steroids*sarcasm*, he hit what, 5 homers all season, and then just HAPPENS to hit one in the 9th inning of game 7. Coincidence? I think not. It doesn't matter though, the Tigers are going to win it in 5 games. They win the first three, lose the fourth, and win it in St. Louis. ~Foolgool The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132. ThurinEthir
I'm a Mets fan. I live near Boston. The Mets are the second closest team to here. My 3rd grade little league team was the Mets. Plenty of reasons I like the Mets...About the game... I watched everything from the 5th inning on. I saw the awesome catch by Chavez. When Molina hit that ball, I knew it was probably gone. I think the entire stadium was hoping Chavez could make another catch. Guess not. But it's not the homer that gets me. It's the bottom of the 9th inning. First two batters on...Reyes out...Bases loaded...Lo Duca out...Bases still loaded, two outs, Carlos Beltran is up. A single would have tied the game. Strike one. Right over the plate. But it was the first pitch, some people wouldn't swing at it, especially with 2 outs. Strike two. Foul ball. Can't blame him. Strike three. SWING!!! What the heck is wrong with you??? I mean, yes, if you miss, the game's over. But if you don't swing, and the ball goes over the plate, it's still over. Take the chance! I guess it wasn't just the hitting that was bad. The bullpen unexpectadly turned out VERY bad. The best bullpen in the league blew two games, both at home. Guess I'm cherring for the Cardinals now, I DO NOT want the Tigers to break the Sox's record of 8 straight postseason wins. Adam007
Hopefully fatigue isn't a factor. Remember, the Tigers have been resting for almost a week. Because baseball players do SOOOO much work Tigers in 4 For pitching it does make a difference. You can imagine how much stress just one game can put on someone's arm. Plus the issue of our few injured players helps too. I think the Tigers are at a better advantage not so much because they're rested, but because the cardinals must be pretty fatigued. And also playing 162 games over about 180 days. I'm a Mets fan and I didn't really like their chances in the series, I knew they were gonna do goo but wasn't sure if they were gonna win. When you have John Maine as a #2 starter, it is not a good sign. But they did good anyway. If they had El Duque and Pedro they would have easily won. Detroit is going to win it in 6. Don't ask why I think that, it's just a wild guess. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting
