F2P Fletching

with this we can:

- Fletch our arrows

- Make our own bows

And also......make maples available to f2p! (so we can burn them and make maple bows.

Suggested locations 4 flax fields

-beside doric's house

-monastery

-outside al-kharid (beside the guards)

-draynor manor

F2P Limitations

-cant fletch yew and magic bows/longbows

-cant fletch ogre bows/ arrows/ brutal arrows

-cant fletch rune crossbows/ bolts

-cant fletch rune arrows

I suggested this because most of us voted for fletching as the available skill in F2P (Tip.It poll, thnks for making this) and we need arrows! I hate buying from Lowe!

Lets make fletching our skill, F2P players!!!!

This won't happen. Fletching is a widely popular skill that makes the whole Ranging Skill much easier. This is why Jagex made it members, so that more people are convinced to pay.

Long story short, no P2P skill will ever become F2P.

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

Wasnt Runecrafting once a p2p skill? Anyways, It won't happen, and if it does, you guys would probally get to make arrows up to iron and regular longbows.

I'm not sure, because Runecrafting was already released and it was F2P when I started playing (February 2005). Maybe someone can confirm this?

I do believe runecrafting was always f2p.

Also, I deaply don't support this idea. Jagex isn't gonna do it, and I don't really want them to. I'd like them to be a little more considerate of f2pers in things such as the skill capes, but this is just asking for something for free that normally costs money.

ogm stop wining..be happy JaGex haves a free evrsion.be happywith what you have and got

K im f2p too but i hate those wining f2pers

Nice idea, but unlikely to happen any time soon (if at all) . Anyways, we can already burn, but not cut maples :-k

well said =D> , exactly what i was thinking but couldn't figure out the words to say <.<

No. The only way fletching would be F2P if all you got was up to iron arrows, iron crossbows/bolts, and oak bows. Nothing else.

And I think RuneCrafting came out when RuneScape 2 came out, so it probably has always been F2P.

On the subject of Runecrafting being p2p or f2p, I have been told by a friend in game that Runecrafting was released with RS2 and has always been f2p.

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

Runecrafting didn't come with the release of RS, and F2P should NOT have fletching, this would make much less people get members since fletching is a quite big skill. Maples are available to F2P.

i agree but disagree. as people have said fletching is a big part of members and less people would become members. but remember the money from fletching is the yew and magic longs so its not too much of a loss, as maple and yew bows dont sell. what has also been in my mind is: "why is it that warriors can make their armor and weapons and mages can make their runes, but rangers cant make their bows and arrows in F2P?" that seems a little unfair to me. but we know jagex probably wont do it but it would give a little balence.

to willyhenrisken: maples can only be traded and burned in F2P. Hiperjak is saying that you can cut them in F2P.

untitled6kv7.gif

Maples can only be cut in members. But, Maple Logs can be sold to f2p to be used for Firemaking. Just to clear things up ::'

Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

As for maples being cut-able in f2p I think that would be nice but as for fletching in f2p, I just don't think it's very good idea. :|

THis isn't a good idea, it would give f2p players another excuse not to get membership.

And F2P'ers can get Dragon and Abby whips?

Normally I'd say don't worry what they say and beleive in yourself, but.. This'll never happen buddy...

I am F2P and I don't agree with that.

1. Making arrows is very important for training range, and that is the reason Jagex made it P2P. It would be nice if it was F2P, but business are business.

2. Prices of arrows/bows/crossbows/bolts would have cheaper prices (I'd say 80% cheaper, but it doesn't matter)

3. P2P skills are supposed to make more money than F2P skills. If this is implemented, all the P2Ps work would de wasted.

4. F2P buy from P2P or from stores (I personally buy from P2Ps). Jagex want to show: "They are P2P, look, they can make a lot more of things than you. Subscribe and you will get all these features."

No! You'll die if you try to kill that farmer!
nah whips should be as left as is. besides theyre the intestine of an abbysal demon (i think) have fun crafting that.

80% Cheaper??? Bronze arrows would be 1 gp each compared to the Arrow Shop..

BTW I agree, even though I'm f2p. It defeats one of the purpose being p2p

another reason it wont happen:

selling bowstrings is highly profitable.
