I what to know who the best screamer of all time is(not singer).I think the best scremmer are Tim Lambesis form As I lay dying and Randy Blythe from lamb of god.So who do you think who is the best screamer is

As much as I love COB, I have to disagree. His vocals on all of the demo tapes of IneartheD, Something Wild, and Hatebreeder were great! No complaints. Then, for whatever reason, he stopped "bellowing" and only did the raspy screams. Yeah, hes good at them, but it gets a bit monotonal. Especially since hes generally impossible to understand.

Its gotta be Randy Blythe cause his scream is so orriginal...no one can copy that...

Agreed completly. I love the band, but some of his vocals aren't the greatest. I read the lyrics to Silten Night, Bodom Night ( Great, GREAT song, btw ) and then listened to the song, and I was just sitting there thinking.. " How .. how the hell, does that even sound ..like what he said..? "

You're kidding me. People are infatuated with finnish metal on these forums. COB is a household name here.

Oh by far, but hes also the strongest link (his guitar playing) Every other member of Bodom is at the very least extremely capable with their respective instruments...vocals are indeed the only thing I would even begin to consider changing.

guess it depends really. id just go for the general sound of the voice...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

George Pettit from Alexisonfire is a personal favourite of mine, like his voice, the way it compliments the music, specially on their Crisis album.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Howard Jones from Killswitch engage has an awesome voice too, especially when they play live. shame he pretty much blew his voice out though, barely any screaming on their new album...
