jessy87
I don't want to spend more time on new skills, soon there might be too many skills to work on. We now have the 2 most wanted skills: farming and construction and they'll do for a long time. Runescape doesn't "need" anymore skills and it's too hard for me to imagine what the next skill will be... :-k hunting and summoning are the 2 most likely skills that could be introduced. oh, and runecrafting is a new skill for rs2...some people are happy about that 1 my skill levels are ok and really, now on a day to day basis i dont do much. i mean really i dont train my def i dont raise any skills any more i flat out bored half the time... so of course i really have let my runescape playing slack alot, not a big deal really. godsfearme
Improvements to old skills definately, there are lots of things that could make the existing skills even better. Ya that is extacly what i wanted to say. Cooking is horribly with all the fish. I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm! What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-

halo2_rocks7
I was also surprised when I saw that a lot of people had chosen Skills. I personally would like to see new quests out; but quests that are long and challenging. Also quests that continue storylines (MEP3, FTP3, and so on...). Quests are fun! Thanks Jason321 for the sig!^ Proud to have served the Tip.it Crew Drops: 2x D Chain, 1x D Legs, 2x D Left Half, 1x D spear, 2x D med (monsters), 5x D Med (Barrows), 4x D Axe, 2x Zerker, Abyssal whip x1, 7x D BootsBarrows items: 55 (not counting the meds)
Adam007
It's probably been said one way or another but I find it funny that only 9% want quests - while jagex focuses over half of their updates to be quest updates. I haven't voted yet but I'm going to vote for skills. Whether or not we have enough isn't an issue for me. As long as they're good quality and moderately innovative, I'd take a new skill over 10 quests any day.
whizkid338
Quests for me, especially those with a 'To be continued...' Storylines, like Myreque part 4, MEP3 and a continuation of Devious minds!!! (<--- that last quest is the one i currently want most). We want sword bows ^_^ Yeah, same here. Go quest-a-holics! Sharane
Skills are nice but can you really compare Slayer, farming and construction to Desert Treasure, Recipe for Disaster and Mourning's End 2? :-k no, because slayer has made so much $ for people, farming has made soo much $ for people. and construction has saved so much $ for people. and its made a huge impact on the economy, and from what duke freedom wrote it does alot...good or bad who cares it did... quests dont really change the economy much, look @ "dragon" and "barrows" gloves same magic attack as infinity gloves and still people pay almost 1mil for inf gloves. wakka has had 89 whip drops, and @ 2mil each(i know some were worth more) thats 178m at LEAST. farming, ive heard some people buying red party hats thru farming ranarrs, if a red party hat was like 100mil thats alot of farming and alot of $ construction, drained inflation alot and then allowed for things like the barrows repair stand and other stuff. it made people some $ for building flat packs and paying for guilded altar useage As an owner of a quest cape, I would have to say that the quests are the things that I look forward to the most. Member quests are pretty much the only reason I joined it in the first place. what the hell do you do in your spare time?I don't really give a hoot about the economy. All I play Runescape for is fun. "300 programmers make their futile but glorious last stand against 1000000 angry players in The battle of Misthalin. Actually, all the things you mentioned have brought very little money into the economy at all. Whip/other item drops don't bring money into the economy, unless they're alched, which they rarely are. Farming herbs doesn't bring money into the economy. Building flatpacks doesn't bring money into the economy either. Yes, people pay for these items, but those people got that money from somewhere else, because as I said, the skills you stated don't actually create much gp at all, if any. The main money maker of the game is fletching/crafting combined with high alch, and has been for a very long time. When he was talking about economic implications, he never mentioned money being brought into the game. You just assumed that was what he meant. There can be economic impacts from more than money just being created. Mass transfer of money can completely alter prices. When slayer first came out and everyone was trading huge amounts of cash for new items, the economy was drastically changed. Not because of any gp brought into the game, but because of all the trading hands of gp that wasn't really goign on beforehand.
jessy87
I don't really give a hoot about the economy. All I play Runescape for is fun. some people consider collecting vast sums of $ as fun, i think collecting some $ is useful but having 50mil in cash on me constantly hold no fun factor for me at all. i mean really what is fun any more? going to castle wars and killing/getting killed isnt fun for me anymore. everything that supposed to be fun isnt fun any more and thats why some high lvls have began to complain, pest control is more like a way of life anymore. none of my friends are on at the same time to go kill big monsters on the 1s that are arent able to kill this 1 but can kill that 1. Quests for me, especially those with a 'To be continued...' Storylines, like Myreque part 4, MEP3 and a continuation of Devious minds!!! (<--- that last quest is the one i currently want most). We want sword bows ^_^ Yeah, same here. Go quest-a-holics! dude that quest was never continued... what the hell. fairy tale's 2nd part came out like 3 months after the first now wheres the end peice? and the red axe series is still on going i think. im surpirsed someone hasnt suggested adding more wearable items places(like pant slot) in another game i used to play runescapes resemblances every where. they recently actually added pants into the game, where before 1 of the items(a space suit) would be a complete 1 peice. now the places you could wear things head neck both hans/arms pants belt ring boot now adding belts to runescape would be weird but i mean people also want them to add face items like wearing a highway man mask with any type of hat, such as a party hat. or gnome goggles so a belt might be far out their, but what eye/face slot included with your head. Joltia
I wouldn't mind something along the lines of 'animal taiming' (except it would have a much more thought-out, and interesting name :? ), where you start off with something small (cat, dog etc) then build you way up as you teach your current animal new tricks. It could also help with those pesky wild dogs in Brimhaven Dungeon; for example if your Taiming Level if higher than the combat of the wild dogs, they wouldn't auto-attack you. Just a thought. :-w My Guide To The Abyss

TheEvilGizm0
New quests :3> I don't really like the creatures they are updating, sure dragons and demons were okay, but bats and rats? Even if the quest hasn't been continued doesn't mean it won't be. Look at the Red Axe series as you are talking about, there hasn't been an update on that series in a while, but there is still probably going to be one. I personally want MEP3 and Myreque part 4. Jagex adds the possibility for a quest to be continued so they can when they need to. There is obviously a way to continue Devious Minds. I mean, the monk is dead at the end and you have no idea how he died, why he died, who he was, or what he was trying to accomplish. R.I.P The Old Nite. Heroes get remembered. But Legends never die. Jorgen
I would pick those two: Graphical improvements 8% Improvements to old skills 11% I think they're better than new quests/mini-games. Easier to do some skills and also something more to do in a skill. A lot of things need to be changed on the graphical sides.

crazy_mimic
That's sad. If people vote for something, they might think they don't like the other options. But I would vote for all! I like mini-games, quests, skills, improvments to old skills, graphics... :( I voted to new skills =) It gets excited when I get 5 levels in 2 minutes \ 100 Combat , 999th to 99 cooking, 99 Fletching, 99 Hunter , 1850+ total Buying : Irit seeds 1k each, Candantine seeds 5k each, and Kwarum seeds 12k each

Harrington
Everyone loves a new skill. Granted there's quite a few existing skills, but even they can get pretty dull after a while. A new skill is the single most profound change that can happen to RS, that's why I look forward to them so much. Although quests and stuff have their value.... jessy87
i was told jagex is always working on a new skill, at least of course not til like a week or 2 after they release a new 1, like construction probably shortly after they were like, hunting?
