Personally I think Borat is hilarious, but some people have a problem with his comedy, because it's so politically incorrect. I love it that Khazakstan's people are annoyed at him.

I think Sacha Baron Cohen is one awesome comedian; I am definitely going to see the film asap. What I don't understand is that people are to dumb to see that he's not making a fool of any country, but only of people who deserve it. People who take themselves too seriously and who look down upon others.

 

 

 

A texan with a huge ranch (where he shoots African imported animals) that would shoot the Jews if he was allowed to, some racist republicans, some power-hungry politicians, some bully jocks, the upper class of England...

Ah, and of course, kind and neutral humour is nowdays usually quite lame. And laughing on something is just healthy, the very basis of humour is that it should not be taken seriously in any situation. In the world of humour, there is no holyness.

I just came back form seeing it. Had to wait 2 hours because it was sold out. We also had to get in half an hour early just to get decent seats. It may have been the funniest movie I have ever seen.

I can't wait to see this movie. I like comedies but there's not many I've wanted to see lately, other than this one of course. I really think the world needs to lighten up and laugh once in a while.

You expected it to be funier? I was in an completely sold out big cinema at the Dutch premiere last month, and I don't think I've ever laughed so hard during a movie. But a sold out house helps on the laughs as well.

I know it sounds immature but that whole naked fighting scene was making me tear up from laughing so hard.

I thought this was one of those movies where the commercials provided the funniest parts of the movie. For the hype that was created, I didn't feel it was that hilarious.

i liked it, i saw it yesterday with a couple of friends including a kazakh friend of mine and he liked it too

I didn't really know what to expect from a whole film of just Borat, but I have to say, I laughed from start to finish. It was absolutely hilarious, I've never laughed at a film like I laughed in that one. Oh jeez. Who knew a naked fat guy could be so funny.

yay, finally managed to see it yesterday. Superb movie! I Laughed all the time. Can't really spearate the best parts, or say which one was the best. There were no weak parts in whole movie. I'm definitely going to get this on DVD when it comes out as one.

Anybody who thinks this is funny, i am veryy veryy offended. How come Hitler didn't kill Christians? Why does everybody go after the Jews? Did you know that there may be no such thing as Fadfdfd this day if Hitler had succeeded at killing of all the Jews?

Perhaps do some research before acting all heroic and making a fool out of yourself. Both Sacha Baron Cohen, the actor that is so fantastic as Borat (and Ali G and the Austrian reporter in 'da Ali G show') as well as Larry Charles, the director, are Jewish.
