Well, I'm glad Jagex is finally fixing the censor. I've never had that problem with either of my screenames.

Konnan4444, I know how ya feel. The filter seems context-based in some cases, other times it seems just too blunt. I've tried to say valid player names, use quick terminology references, etc., and I can say it is worse than frustrating when part or all of it gets blocked. :(

but what i do think should be sencored is your real pass so that people dont fall into the "look jagex blocks your pass " trick then ya couldent get banned for it because it would be a true statment lol :thumbsup:

After jagex updated to the new server, my name was censored. After a couple months, it was fixed (Yay!)

I love that scam, it weeds out the complete morons in RuneScape, kind of like Darwinism. If you're stupid enough to fall for that scam then I'd rather you didn't play RuneScape anyway...

I agree with jimbo. On the other hand, the scammers are still in the wrong and should still be banned. Ban them all, I say! Scammers and victims (only of the really stupid scams). :P

maybe Jagex realises that some people need to vent their frustration in this manner... maybe they don't know what it means?

My name used to be fine, but a few months ago, jagex started censoring my name. In RS, atronic92 = atron**92. :evil: Funny thing is, atronic is uncensored. So whenever I buy in world 1 or 2, I say "buying XXX - XXXgp - atronic". But then I thought, what if I meet another atronic, and someone doesn't know who to trade? :shock: :lol:
