Good choice. thank you :D yea, its pretty great so far, but mostly we sit at a computer using this program called "rosetta stone" ugh it sucks...alot..... they tell u a phrase, then you have to guess the phrase that matches some picture, and the pictures are horrible, like puella(girl) scribbit(write) it had shown a girl wearing glasses and a picture, the worst part of the program, is you have to figure out the definitions on our own, nobody telling us but, anyways, latin rocks! thanks for the cropping Mr Joob =]
November 9, 200619 yr Various Black Guard soldiers speak Latin in Burthorpe. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
November 9, 200619 yr cool, i also take latin, 3rd year now. Started in 6th grade and a few months into 8th grade :) . But one thing you should know is 60% of english comes from latin, so yes very easy to find a derivative. Doing imperfect tense with irregualr verbs atm. (the 2nd imperfect tense already know the first one.. get more and more annoying..) Fatue, pueri! Translate that.. lol its easy. Currently Working on: Basically Quit... Messing up my pure atm though// HeheMain Name: AnishrJoin the official Barbarian Assult channel, #ba in irc.

November 9, 200619 yr latin is what people call a dead language, its called this cause like with english, english gets slang words like pal, sup, and so on, but with latin no slang words or any words are changed in oral or on written work, so basically if a scientist discovers a new cell o something, he'll name it in latin and it'll be translated from latin to french, spanish, italian, english, and nay other language. English is made up from alot of languages and continues to be made up from various and sometimes more languages. (spelling sucks by the way=/) I think jagex even posted on the main site about using different language words for purposes that may involve the game becoming a bilingual or multilingual language game.

November 9, 200619 yr Latin IV :) I've seen a lot of Latin stuff in RS. But I always forget to write it down. I know just yesterday, I saw something to do with Sanguis, or blood.
November 9, 200619 yr There's plenty of Latin dotted around RuneScape and the English dialect. Where do you think we got "portal" from? The Latin word "portas", translated as "gate". ;) Glad you're observant. Linux User/Enthusiast | Full-Stack Software Engineer | Stack Overflow Member | GIMP User...Alright, the Elf City update lured me back to RS over a year ago.
