This one ment alot for me, second 90+ skill, Teleother Camelot, all normal magic spells and can Magic Pot to Ice Barrage, so decided to give a small party in my noobish house.

The Plan:

 

 

 

Well it's quite simple, I am gonna do as much different things as I can not to get bored. Alching is good xp but is becomes annoying after a while.

 

 

 

Other methods of getting mage exp include Onyx Enchanting in the MTA, Fire Bolting at the Metal Dragons and maybe some Pest Control with Affliction.

 

 

 

Also Barrows and Daggannoth kings may render me some easy experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other Goals:

 

 

 

- 90 Range

 

 

 

- 1700 skill total

 

 

 

- all skills 65+, then 70+

 

 

 

Most of these are pretty longterm and won't be realised for quite a while.

 

 

 

I'll be concentrating on Magic mostly for now, mixed up with the occasional Barrows, Dk's or just plain other skilling.

- There's 3m of my cash in misc and I have a few things lent out and am owed some money

Thursday and Friday, October 9 and 10, 2006 (duh :P)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thursday I wasn't feeling so well so I didn't go to school and slept till past noon, after which I decided to log on RS and IRC.

 

 

 

I found Shadowsonic online who had recently gotten 99 smithing and he kindly smithed some of my rune bars :P

 

 

 

I alched abit in the bank he was crafting in (I think it was crafting :$) but got bored rapidly and decided to go to the Barrows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The main purpose of going was acquiring some deaths and minds (for slayer dart) so the first trip I went with Fire Bolt.

 

 

 

It went fine and I got a nice 220 deaths and about 300 minds so a good starter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second trip I went with Fire Wave to see if that was effective.

 

 

 

It killed the bro's pretty fast but trying to be the cheapskate that I am, I verac'ed guthan and torag. Bad Move...

 

 

 

Let's just say finding yourself face to face with karil with 4 food and no prayer in the tunnels, no intention of sipping that green potion and a pc that has failed on me more than the days I've lived, isn't the best outcome to come home safely :

 

 

 

With about 50 Hp and no food left I reached that prized chest, crossed my fingers to find alot of deaths and found... this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hoping for some runes which I usually recieve in quantities, I get that one coveted drop everyone wants and I had given up hope on.

 

 

 

My first spear in just over 600 trips, and it felt damn good!

 

 

 

I then decided to make this blog as I had thought of but never got round to, and took a bank picture. (which took me far too long lol, damn my paint/cropping skills)

 

 

 

That's also why there are 2 Guthan Spears in my Bank pic, I sold it afterwards for a nice 4.95 million.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rest of the day was more of an unfortunate series of events which were incredibly pointless and lead to nothing but trouble.

 

 

 

I'm sad to say I am probably one of the causes of this and still feel guilty about it.

 

 

 

The people who should know about this do know it so let's not get into detail and move on to Friday...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Friday (yesterday) was another school day for me and I went round a mates house after school so I only logged on at 8.30 pm.

 

 

 

Nevertheless, I was only about 400 alchs away from a new Magic level and when I drew closer to the level, more and more friendly faces gathered around me to watch me level, even though I had invited/asked no one to come and didn't plan to either.

 

 

 

But thanks anyway to all who were there \

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8 more to go till my ultimate goal, 3 more for Ice Barrage without them darned Magic pots :3>

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I alched abit more, read some forums, went to range some Cave Horrors but got bored fast aswell (shame on me).

 

 

 

Later on I decided to try some Pest Control with Ice burst to see if I could get any decent xp and even though it was and points came in pretty fast, I went to bed after 40ish points.
