Actually, Finnish has some very cool words. To bad it's only English. <.<

:o Can you go off topic for a bit and post them? Meh, actually I think I'll start a thread with most beautiful words in any language.

On topic: I like the word 'swish'. Purely cause of the way it sounds. It really sounds like its meaning...It's a delight to pronounce :P

"Metal isn't about violence or faggy whiny lyrics. It isn't even about who plays the heaviest and fastest. It is about invoking a sense of wonder and magnitude that no other genre can depict."

For some reason, really love the word crimson. It just sets out an image of a burning sunset, colouring the clouds red and gold. :D

On the same line, I kinda like Scarlet... it kinda implies redness, but not sunsetty red, more sexy red, and it just sounds cool. In fact lots of colours sound cool - 'emerald' and 'aquamarine,'

When I hear the word 'Crimson', I think of a strong, big man's face, with a rough beard (when you dont shave for 3 days) :)

My word: Apocaliptic! 8-)

JÃÆÃâÃâäÃÆÃâÃâä

Finnish for 'Ice'.

A Swedish buffet.

'Ice' is probably one of my favorites. It's simplicity is what makes it so great...

Then there's 'Aghoon' which means 'fire' in Bangla.

sayonara?

I am not sure if it is not english, but it does not sound like it. It is in my signature. it is another way of saying goodbye I think...

Pronounced 'Sie-o-nar-a', is kind of an English/Spanish way to say goodbye. Probably most notably English slang, but it might have some Spanish roots.

A Japanese education observation team came to visit my school and I had to be a leading guide. We (me and 3 other guides) had to learn some cheezy japanese lines, such as hello, thank you, and goodbye. Sayonara (goodbye) was one of them.
