On March the 24th, 2006 I was permanently muted for saying "msm" in the game, it was deemed as website advertising.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I tried to appeal, but was given no mercy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, today, I log in to see that Jagex has sent me a message..

 

 

 

They said due to new offences on my account they have changed the status of my account and they referred me to my offence appeal inbox.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I look into the offence box to see "Congratulations! There are no offences on this account!"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm so happy, finally unmuted!! :D :D :D

oh, so that was you that went into Irc and yelled Im unmutted!!!!!!!!!!!!

same here, i think being muted permanently is worse then a permanent ban, you can still play but there waving it in your face that your character is now pretty much useless :x

same here, i think being muted permanently is worse then a permanent ban, you can still play but there waving it in your face that your character is now pretty much useless :x

sweet thats great, last night i was in wild for a clue and a guy ran up and wouldnt talk but when i asked if he was muted he shoook his head yes and said yes for being perm muted. i felt really bad. I think jagex should be a little lighter on the muting sentences, have they tried playing for a week or two without talking. its tough and can teach a good lesson.
