I got it to 70, then decided to take a break.

Good luck, it's gonna be very hard, as soon as you reach 45 go to Seers Village and chop down maples and burn them, if you reach 60 try chop down yews and burn them, I don't know about Magic, I heard they are low, I'd stick with yews.

Burning yews is BAD advice. Big waste of money, plus yews take longer to cut = slower firemaking xp. Buy all willows then burn in Draynor City - that's how I got to 99 Firemaking. Good luck :)
