I was in world 2 buying green dragon hides. I had several people trade me but I could not find them. They continued to trade me over and over and when I tried to trade them back it says this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is one of about 6 examples that occurred while I am there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any idea whats going on? I tried logging out and back in but it did nothing.

actually it is not a bug, i have had this happen to me several times, i cannot figure it out, but i know it is not a bug, or else "Cannot find ..." would not be shown. So there you go.

Hmm perhaps you were in the building and they were outisde, or vice versa? No idea though, never saw this before :-k

Is the person you're trying to trade with on the other side of the wall? Maybe your character won't go to him.

Usually it means that they have left the "area" (like every time you go somewhere else you have to "load" it) or they've just logged out.

No, it happened when I was a few squares away from the building. I wasn't up against it the whole time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I can't even locate these players. They seem to be non existent.

they cant have logged because he trades, cannot find, trades again, cannot find, if they'd left it would be trades, cannot find cannot find, maybe they had trade compete off? im not sure wether it comes up with a message if they do have it off or just doesn't let you trade them

It just happened again...I think its a bug.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's as if half the characters aren't viewable to me. I think its just a world bug

report it and see what happens?

Maybe theres simply just too many people there and the severs under to much demand with all the trades?

Mabye there just friends and keep putting their trade on off.

I've had the same happen to me several times, also around that particular area, when buying d-bones.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not logging out, but just running away till I hit a new loading block

 

 

 

(- loading please wait - message) then running back to the spot solved it for me. It's like it needs refreshing.

I noticed this about 2 months ago when buying hides, and since then I have had another friend mention this to me. They were buying hides as well. It's annoying, but I find that running away a bit and forcing the screen to reload helps.

I had this once. I was thinking there was too many people around, and the server couldn't pick the person out.

I think there were to many people around, I normally get that if they've left the area

Unless they know how to do long-distance trades, that can't be. Reason for this is because while the game is telling you it cannot find them, they're still trying to trade you and you are recieving the "RandomPerson wishes to trade with you." message.

world 2 needs fixing, this 'bug' the world 2 X'ing thing, getting ridiculous. lol.

That can't be it, because I've traded dozens of people with my Trade filter set to Off, and they've all been able to trade with me regardless.

 

 

 

It's more likely a lag issue related to the server strain like a couple of other people said, especially since others have fixed it by "refreshing" the map section.
