Hi.

I own a fletching(t) skillcape and a magic(t) skillcape.

Normally I wear the magic because it gets more "oohs" and "ahhs."

However, fletching (99) and cooking (99) is still an achievement. I like the cooking skillcape because it looks cool, and the fletching one is just good-looking once it's trimmed. And it's still hard and annoying to get 99s in both stats.

Whilst I respect ANY level 99 skill, I must admit level 99 cooking, and fletching are not as equally respectable.

They are both the easiest skill to reach the level 99 in, well...... Firemaking is possibly the easiest, but as it is useless, its not a common target.

Skills that can be bought, that offers a high xp:time ratio, and then can offer a high GP reward is hard to respect.

I feel the most respected 99 skills are:

-smithing

-RuneCrafting

-Herblore

-Mining

-and Farming.

What about strength, attack, defense, range and magic skillcapes?

People will literally run from me when I wear my magic skillcape into the wild. They instantly throw on prayer and run.

Besides combat-related skills take a while to get 99. My magic cape took me 4 months from 60 magic to get 99. And I also alched more than most do in a day.

Depends if you do it for EXP/LVL or for RESPECT.

I have both of them for 2 reasons.

Theire good total xp.

There isn't much of clicking.

I wub easy total xp.

And when player says that it's noob cape, I ask them to show theirs. If they don't have 1, then they are just jelous. Wee:)

So yes, every cape should be respected

lets face it, theyre the most common capes out there, most people would walk by a 99 fletcher\cook without bothering to ask the emote. im going for 99 fletching right now to trim my wcing cape. im just asking if its worth the respect or achievement.

I think that if anyone has level 99 in a skill that they deserve respect.

My 2 99's :( Don't make me cry  I know I have the 2 easiest. And no they don't deserve respect :D. (maybe fletching because of stringing)

Quit RuneScape :)

If you are not happy with your 2 99's I would happily take them off you...

Even though it might be easier to get than most, you don't see it as often as you see full Rune or even Whips, so I think it should deserve some sort of praise. \'

i dont like 99 fleching capes it raised the yews prices

Yes indeed.

Im 86 Cooking right now and these are my calculations...

I need 33,739 lobs till 94 cooking, brought @ 250ea thats: $8,434,750 gps

From 94 to 99 i need 24,338 sharks, brought @ 900ea thats: $21,904,200 gps.

Altogether thats: $30,338,950 gps

My bank value dosent really go past the 5m mark, so how the hell am i supposed to afford all that?

I could buy in say 5k portions then sell and buy more, but then i would loose money because no-one buys cooked lobs @ 250ea in bulk.

Either way its hard for me, So i deserve all the respect i can get with that cape n hood on.

if i had 99 cooking id do what i did with my fletching cape, but it. then house it. and never take it out

Are you serious?!

All 99 skills are difficult to achieve, cooking and fletching are just the easiest ones to level.

So, yeah I think they deserve some respect, why else would you train your fletching past 85?

Proud Owner of a Fire Cape

i agree... any 99 skill deserves reconition... however, say i saw someone with a fletching and then someone else with fishing... i'd be more astonished for the fishing guy... its a harder skill... but any 99 is worthy of my "gratz"

Even on my death bed, I'll bare-hand that bloody shark.

I was the 4000 Person to get 99 Fletching about 4 months ago, now, due to these capes, theres like 11 000 99 Fletchers :|

I dont wear my cape anymore unless im training, purely because i dont think i deserve it... Its a shame, i used to be proud of 99 fletching, now im not so sure...
