In-Game World Map (120+ Supporters! Pictures! Support Sigs!)

Featured Replies

I've re-thought about where to put the button. It would be a good spot to put it in the empty spot next to the friends list... Then a button like the 'logout' button where you can view the world map, and then the second screen in my post will appear. I'll edit the pics whenever. (Rednik's idea, thanks )

You can't do that anymore. Clan chat has taken the spot. But great idea, support. =D>

Hmmm....

I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later.

Probably.

~98% of rs players have attempted a scam. If

your one of the 2% who haven't, copy this into your sig..

It should be good enough to have a clickable globe icon on the bottom right side of the map to show world map.

The world map will show where you are.

I support, this is a very good idea. I like looking at the map to see where I have to go in any game. One suggestion would be to have a button the turns on/off the world map symbols, and maybe have different symbols for transportation (ex. fairy rings, charter ships, etc.).

Oh yeah, I defenetly like this idea. I never use the java map since it takes like 10 minutes to load on my computer. If I need to use a map, I normally open the downloadable one off the Jagex extras page, but it's so big my computer has troubles with it and about half the time just shows a big white space. A nice already loaded map that doesn't give me problems would be very nice.

I wonder if we click on the world map and our character will move to that destination just like our map does.

This would help alot.

if it were to go next to the mini map i would suggest it be required to right click it first so you do not accidentally click it while trying to move with the mini map

great suggestion :D

-My Blog! Don't forget to post!

You've defenitely putted a lot of effort into this idea and I like that.

The idea is great and you got my support because it's quiet annoying when you have to switch between your ingame screen and the one of the World Map. And sometimes it takes a while to load, which is annoying me as well.

I agree with baconisbacon, Cbow looks freaking sensual

Add me to the supporters list! A very nice idea.

P.S.- You may want to update your pics with some screenies of the new "stone" look.

Makes perfect sense (add the zoom buttons too >_>). Also, great icon. Looks as if the RuneScape staff made it their selves.

SUPPORT + 1

Yeah awesome ideas.

It really is annoying to have two windows open.

Also it can even cause lag on some computers.

Total support!

yo its a very nice idea. jagex should do this.i support ur idea all the way. 8-)

actually, I'm not sure why this isn't already in game in the first place...

What about adding little circles showing where those online are. It could be a hover over thing, so they are moving around and stuff but if you hover your mouse over it says their world and name. :D

I just thought it would be a neat little thing to add. O:)
