For some reason the microhelper can't steal the text focus from RuneScape. Whenever I try to type something (either in the main bar or the box over the inventory) it sends all text to the RS chatbox. Also, it won't appear over the game window in fullscreen, only in full browser. By the way, I'm running 64 bit Ubuntu Intrepid and using the still in testing Sun Java 6 update 12 with 64 bit browser plugin. It's only very recently that RuneScape is able to run with this Java, so perhaps the microhelper just isn't compatible as well?

I usually run Ubuntu Hardy Heron (that's Linux, in case you didn't know) and in Arcanists it says that my system doesn't meet the requirements for full screen mode. My only worry is that I'll have to play from my Windows partition to get to the new graphics/ fullscreen mode, as it'll let me play Arcanists fullscreen from Windows. Windows is just so slow.

I haven't checked out the RSOF yet (assuming riots in the rants forum based on the costs), but I think I'll wait till the second half of the familiars are released until judging the skill. Personally, I do think that the shards could be cheaper. Why are pouches, which you need one of per familiar, cost 1/50 of a shard, which you need minimum 7 per familiar. And the amount of shards needed is multiplied by the apparent rarity of the charm needed :shock: Weird... Hmm, maybe I need to take back the part about not judging the skill yet :-k

I was just running around wildy looking around w/out any items with me, and saw a rev pyrefiend (around lv 43 if i remember right, strangely near its real lv...) walk though the walls to the bandit's pizza shop. It may have been a graphical glitch as it walked right back out, but :shock: if revs actually can! With no items on, a 102 rev (sorry, didn't catch what it was) killed me with some sort of ice ball spell (didn't freeze me, so not ancients...) in 4 hits while I tried to run away, and i have 66 hp and 61 mage and 65 def. The spell may have been a high level wind spell though, as I'm color blind and light blue/cyan looks white to me (and vice versa).

I can't remeber which was first, but I got killed when the Al Kahrid gaurds teamed me when I tried to kill one after I saw someone else kill them, and also by the dark wizards near the Delrith stone table outside Varrock. I had all of my steel armor and my trusty steel longsword lost with the Al Kahrid disaster, which about made me quit because I had no idea how to make money. Looking back it's so funny!

This is weird... I've never been on when the servers crashed. It's been loosing connection off and on all night for me, though. It's funny to see the world select screen empty, though (takes screenie). Strange that the login server and the forums are down, but not the rest of the RS site. I've been getting problems with the tip.it site, too, when I came over to check out what's going on. I also accidentally clicked the create a new player link and it didn't load. Again: Weird...

That's Mod Maz's doing. A player made a thread on the RS Recent updates forum about it, and Mod Maz revealed herself as the squirrel lady. I personally think Mod Maz and Mod Mark are teaming up to have their squirrels and penguins take over runescape.

No, it's all random. I've had a whopping 2 mimes in the 2 or 3 years i've been playing, and got clothes both times.

I had rune legs, rune chain, rune full helm, rune b-axe, anti-fire shield, anti-fire potion, and lots of lobbies. I had died once already, and the anti-fire pot made it actually pretty easy to kill him.

When I was still F2P and like lv. 8 or so, someone asked me if I wanted to make 500gp. That actually sounded like alot of money to me, so I followed him to the alley by the Apothecary. He wanted my password for the 500gp, but I was smart enough to remember the report button and left after that. That one was a coupla years ago, but a few months ago, before the pure ess update, I was merchanting laws at world 66, buying there, sellin on forums, when I accidentally traded a few thousand laws instead of a few thousand gp for a few hundred laws. I was so mad I clicked a button on my mouse that was the back button. When I finally got logged back on, he was gone and I couldn't report him. :wall:

I have numbers in my name (Nintendo01) because Nintendo was taken and so was Nintendo1. I would have continued adding 0's if Nintendo01 was taken.

Actually, I've heard some ppl in the RS forums saying that they are 8 or 9, so it's not true that only ppl 13+ play RS. And even though i'm 16, I don't want the censor changed anyway. I don't like people cussing in real life, unless it's a real good reason.

I there any way to play RS with a proxy. It's the only way around my school's website blocker thing, and I haven't found a proxy that works. Only handsoffmycomputer.com brings up a "can't use a non-secure proxy on a secure site" message when I try to get on forums. I think it means that I have to find a ssl or https proxy, but I haven't found a free one that my school hasn't blocked. Anyone have a suggestion?
