Well, when you use the horn, the instructions appear at the top of the other player's screen. If both players use the horn, it's easier to notice when it disappears, so you can shout out your next instructions.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That, and not everybody who plays RS is going to have access to Teamspeak, especially when you recruit somebody you don't know... -.-

Teamspeak, you use mics to speak with other people. And it is easier with ts, I never used it with BA though as it wasn't really needed.

Never new what it was for #-o

i dont see the point of the horn of glory :?

for some stuff don't you actually need to use the horn so the other player can do a job though?

without the horns, you would have to be RELIANT on teamspeak or other outside chatprograms...

Also, even with teamspeak, I think I might have trouble remembering what it was at times. Sometimes you have a "i'm teh stupid" moment and forget what it was, and if it wasn't up there you'd have to ask again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the absence of a direction in the corner is the first thing I notice when I realize I have to call again. I might miss the change if only the call text changes and I miss it.

Yes, I'd rather click than type it out anyways.

But sometime, Im a healer and the defender do this- Poison tofu, poison meat, poison worm. I go, :?. He just liked to mess us up...

I seem to have bad luck with the horn. I was in the defender role on two different teams, and BOTH teams had 2 healers, and not a single healer EVER called their horn unless I followed them around asking them to. I was then blamed for giving the wrong food to the runners. I wonder why... :roll:

Why do people think you need to know what food you have to drop as defender, just drop shiploads of food everywhere, they'll never get to the exit that way. You dont lose 20 points and your allies dont lose 10 points, can it be easier?

Me and my team of HoF/MoD members we all use ventrilo and safe a lil time. Its also easlier to ask 4 jobs to to tell how many points we need 4 what we want.
