January 7, 200719 yr The picture speaks for itself... I AM using the real jagex runescape client (If someone can try this with their computer that would help because this might just be because of my styleXP skin)
January 7, 200719 yr And why dont you just maximize the window? Anyway when its maximized on 1024 x 768 you see everything, and its the standard internet resolution now If you play on 800 x 600 or lower that explains everything, its just a problem whith you Quest cape obtained at combat level 83, march 07.
January 7, 200719 yr Author My computer's resolution is at 1280x1024. So, if I try to keep my runescape client as small as I can because I often browse forums/talk on a messenger program while playing runescape, if I maximized it, I wouldn't be able to do it.
January 8, 200719 yr When you're using a resolution that's too small to view it, that's the main exception. Jagex can't ban you for not having the budget to afford a 1024x768 monitor. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat

January 8, 200719 yr ^^ Would also be one heck of a lawsuit don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
January 8, 200719 yr ^^ Would also be one heck of a lawsuit I wouldn't care if I had spent years on an account I wouldn't file a lawsuit against Jagex... I would just appeal it. If I didn't get my account back.. they don't deserve my money.
January 8, 200719 yr yeah they also break the auto rule because they send automated messages to peoples messages
January 8, 200719 yr Hiding the ads in browsers, even in their own client is very easy. Though there is no specific advantage to doing this, players are not encouraged or forced to hide the ads in browsers or the Jagex client compared to other Toolkits/World Switchers. Where tools or utilities are placed under the RuneScape applet, meaning should a player want to use those tools effectively they HAVE to hide the ad. Jagex are trying to rule out this sort of thing.

January 8, 200719 yr That's the funniest rule I've ever seen. I doubt those adverts are highly effective. When was the last time you decided to buy something because it was advertised above the Runescape window?
January 8, 200719 yr ^^ They don't necessarily care. They're getting paid for them and that's all that really matters. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
January 9, 200719 yr Lol gotta agree. At any rate it's only there to make their add pipsqueeks happy. (And there is no way to trace how large your window is.) Also, I have a 1600x1200 monitor and I have my game screen smaller. (ok, maybe small enough to block the advert... But that's only cause I'm playing music below it, and my other browser is taking up the other half of the screen, it isn't my fault.[if you could even understand that]) What has become of the runescape community???? :wall:There is a community?

January 9, 200719 yr Heh, I used to play the odd mini-game on the adverts when I got bored. I wonder if Jagex makes money based on whether people open the advert, or if they sign-up.. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

January 9, 200719 yr Yep, I thought about this the other day. However, it is their software, and their rules, meaning they can make their software however the hell they want ;) Anyway, are you actually complaining about this or what? Do you want them to change their client, therefore removing all ways of hiding the ads (short of using a web browser)? :-$ before they read this and change it! 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength

January 9, 200719 yr I hate it when people make moronic posts like theese just to spam up the forum. Or make posts like that, contradicting themselves and further adding to the spammage... And yes, I do realise that I am being hypocritical by making this post, but the point needed to be made. 99/99 Fletching, 99/99 Cooking, 96/99 Strength
January 9, 200719 yr Lol! i never noticed THIS: I'm using Firefox, and i never see any ads on runescape, it's just black and a question mark... soo, what's this about?
January 10, 200719 yr Lol! i never noticed THIS: I'm using Firefox, and i never see any ads on runescape, it's just black and a question mark... soo, what's this about? Sounds like your parents, the firewall/antivirus, some privacy filter, or your ISP is/are blocking the adverts for you. Well, can't beat house rules... Unless you wish to not use a PC anymore... Jagex is shot in attempting to dare in defeating those. ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people...
