Yes, the +15% attack and defense bonus is only activated during slayer tasks.

So based on that info with 99 str + str bonus items and dagger (69 str bonus total) + pray + pot + black mask bonus the normal max on the dagger would be 36, and on kalphites and scarabs, 108.

I guess i'll skip a few tasks until I get Kalphites as one, or might 1 item to the Queen!

i no alot of people are gonna disagree with me but this weapon didnt seem that good with me. Then again im just a lvl 93. I literally just got back from testing it on scarab mages and didnt hit the spec once. the accuracy of the dagger wasnt great either. On another note, the scarab riders can be safe spotted, and all the scarab things can drop two items i think

ive yet to hit any thing over a 38 with this dagger(pot prayer NO black mask) but it hits like triple what it normally can... 38*3= over 100 lol...

i did some kq trips with my mate yesterday and discovered something stunning. the keris actually HITS THROUGH THE KQ MELEE PRAY. yes and the special works too, i hit a stunning blow of 72 against her second form (the one with melee pray). too bad i was too stunned to press the print screen button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

personally i think this is a bug and will be fixed, but if its not its a great weapon to pwn the KQ with. altho full veracs is still better (my m8 was using it)

it seems it doesnt hit for every 1? thats what i was told... i killed like 10 kalphites and never saw the special writing

I did get the special. Once. But not on the queen, it was on a guardian. Yes I got the little message that it hit.

I got kalphites for a slayer task so i thought id use the dagger. My first big hit was 48 but i missed the screenie. I was telling some of my friends about it lol and just as i look at my character, i see a 54, missed the screenie again. But from then on, i kept my finger on the print screen button, and i got this :)

She does use prayers... The only thing is people keep forgetting it only reduces the chance of hitting. Just as with player vs player protection prayers.

In her second form she is no longer immune to Magic or Ranged attacks, but as she flies above the ground she is immune to melee attacks. This means of course you will have to use Ranged or Magic attacks against her. She will still be a tough fight, and will continue to use Magical, Ranged and Melee attacks against you, all which can hit in excess of 30 damage.

i hit 44 on guardians without special...ill edit this during my assignment if i do get a special to hit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

137-85 remaining kalphites left i finally hit 2 spec's 57 and a 63. @ lvl 111 str with +65 str with black mask on and prayers... i am disappointed.

Just answer this question, is it going to be just a novelty or are we going to use it? Heck, it make the highest hit, but is it effective enough to be worth taking along to the KQ?
