This level does not come with as much satisfaction as maybe it should. I can safely say I felt absolutely nothing when that screen popped up. That is what is wrong with me playing the game, it no longer satisfies me. Even talking to my friends is no longer fulfilling. Taking my MTk reward was a big eye opener for me, things stack up and you don't notice them. I completely forgot about my resources being collected and they stacked up. I play too much, the time I spend playing is stacking up and I don't like it. I wish I could say something resolute that would bring some definitive meaning to my quitting, but it will be in vain if all my friends are still there hoping for my return. I won't return, this is my final goodbye.

Haha fooled y'all! I am not gunna quit at all! My plan of action is to pot up all the herbs for 60 Herblore now, then move onto 92 Firemaking. this will give me a much needed break that I deserve after all that hard burning. At 92 Firemaking, I shall go back to Barrows and earn my spear back. After that, I will continue onto 99 with no/little interuptions. The look on your faces. :P

The feeling of achievement is nothing compared to what's on the other side of the scales. This level surprised me, got it whilst putting in some flowers at my house. \

Yo! This evening was interesting, met up with Taity who further apologised for my spear mishap. I said don't worry about it and explained that I had experienced how hard it is to get it from the bottom of the pile. Nonetheless he proceeded to give me 1k soul runes and 2 glories.

 

 

 

Later on I decided to attempt to sell my full Torag's. if I wasn't certain i'd say that prices on Torag have gone up. Managed to sell full without hammers for a crazy 1.6m cash.

The amount of time spent on RuneScape can damage ones real life. Friendships, potential physical fitness and socialising is, if not only slightly dampened down by the hours and days spent on RuneScape. As I reached for the calculator by our side, the number came up quickly, approaching 3,000 hours spent on RuneScape.

 

 

 

Our descision is final. (Jypsy) is forgetting about this account, and I will only revisit for maybe 30 - 45 minutes a day. We're both going all out to focus on the things above. I myself am not willing to completely end this, I will come on for maybe 45 minutes to an hour a day, but life, as you said before, is so more rewarding.

 

 

 

Going to do a little bit more firemaking, but not much. Best revise for my science SAT tomorrow. :)

Jagex have done an amazing job with todays updates. The Kalphite Queen and the rest of the graphical changes look awesome! Killing her will be even more enjoyable now!

 

I think the Achievement Diary is also a good update, too bad I am too dedicated on getting Firemaking that I can't stop to check it out. Maybe a new goal for em after 99 is to complete it?

No, before you ask this isn't a quitting post. And, no, before you ask it is genuine. Making that fake post a while back is gunna keep coming back and kicking me in the backside I swear. #-o

 

I won't continue to play Runescape unless I am having fun. Firemaking was good, for a while. I am finding it difficult to burn more than a few inventories at a time before I load another browser up and get TIF going. That is not my fault, nor is it yours for making such wonderfully enticing posts.

 

Please, don't get me wrong. I love firemaking, but there can be too much of a good thing. I am going to leave this goal for a while. Maybe even as long as the summer holidays. I reached for my tinderbox last time because my other goals were boring me. Now I reach for my slayer staff and head down to the murky depths of the Mort Myre swamps.

 

I will keep all the 99 Firemaking information in hide captions until I am ready to return, but for now I shall start to have fun again. :wink:
