Read it in my senior English class in high school and got hooked on it, I doubt I'd be able to describe it without spoiling it, so I won't.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Omg, that is my favorite book too! I've read it 3 times now, it's AMAZING. But it's 1,000-odd pages and a little slow to start out with, but it's the best book I've ever read and I'm a book nerd.

The only book I liked for real was Holes by Louis Sachar. We had to read it in school and I read ahead and loved it

Into Thin Air. It's a non-fiction book about a man who climbed mount Everest when 6-10 people died. I don't know the exact figures but it was around there. Very good book for people interested in mountaineering or the outdoors.

It'd have to be Silence of the Lambs.

I don't really like Sci-Fi books much, and mostly read fantasy. I haven't even begun to read Eragon, heard bad things from people that share my tastes and so I figured I wouldn't bother. I feel kinda lame seeing names of books I've never even heard of on here, but I'll probably wind up looking into many of them. :) If any of you like deep science fiction with awesome twists, read "Armor". It far outstrips anything else on my list.

Simply the best. Hemingway is the undisputed master at crafting beautiful and extremely straightforward prose. The books dialogue is in translated Spanish, ensuring that almost every other sentence has the word "Man" in it, and the swear words are all strange and ill-translated, making the dialogue seem alot more relaxed and contemporary than it actually is.

Not the best book, but I just recently read In Cold Blood and It wasnt so much entertaining as it was interesting. It wouldnt be so interesting if the events in this book didnt actually happen, but to think that the book is based off of true events....*shiver*
